IOW: There’s no smoke without fire. All suspects deserve a fair trial.
But there is a lot of Probable Cause against him, he will likely plead.
Federal indictments are notoriously thorough and on the mark.

Ehh, irony or whatever, it's pretty much a Republican Party MO. On the one hand, we have Democrats mostly acting with excessive caution and still having ample, well founded cause to investigate or prosecute Republicans left and right - and very often refraining from doing so (which is plenty worthy of complaint). On the other, we have Republicans constantly claiming that all of that is nothing but political persecution and announcing and engaging in lots of nigh baseless investigations that are blatantly motivated by politics and outright CT-based political fishing trips masked as investigations that generally find nothing of note, but are hyped up anyways, while completely ignoring actual wrongdoings along whatever line by Republicans. The irony is stinging...Trump hs always claimed that the charges against him were politically motivated and that no prosecutor would have brought charges against him if they were not in a witch hunt, now these charges against Garica could not be any more blatantly motivated by politics.
Even if he's guilty of human trafficking??He’s still a better American than any Republican.
The point of due process is to hedge against the misuse of state power.Hercules, the point of due process is not merely to give innocent people a day in court. It is to give everyone, regardless of what they are alleged to have done, their day in court.
So detained by the Biden administration.
Short thread
TLDR version. US citizens are already detained by ICE. At least one held for over 3 years
And the non Twitter link
There is Probable Cause that he is a human trafficker of illegal migrants. Thats a serious crime. This must be one of those heart warming feel good stories about those scumbag immigrants, that certain white guys love to talk about. Warms the cockles.
Yes, he may be innocent. But its more likely he's guilty. The DOJ is known for not indicting unless case is very solid.Hercules, the point of due process is not merely to give innocent people a day in court. The fact that you have already made your mind up on his guilt because you just “knew he was bad news” says less about those calling for due process and more about those people such as you who rationalized your cheerleading to send people to a hell-hole prison in El Salvador without establishing guilt.
You still have no idea if he is guilty yet immediately doubling down on your belief that he must be somehow.
Trump hasn't been in office three years. Whatever the dates, they're not Trump's dates.I can't view anything more on X than the quoted, what dates on the detainment?
Trafficking illegal migrants is not a big deal for you?Oh, is this the "he was selling loose cigarettes" bit?
What exactly is the problem? Do you think he should've been left to rot because it's politically inconvenient if it turns out that he's a criminal? All suspects deserve a fair trial.

There was also PC that Trump is a rapist. But even he deserves his day in court. We have a process for many reasons. There is Probable Cause that he is a human trafficker of illegal migrants. Thats a serious crime.
Nope, should have been released from prison. What exactly is the problem? Do you think he should've been left to rot because it's politically inconvenient if it turns out that he's a criminal?
