Merged Due process in the US

The ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ did it again.

The Trump administration has admitted that it improperly deported another immigrant in violation of a court order — the fourth known case in which the administration deported someone erroneously or in breach of specific legal requirements.

Jordin Melgar-Salmeron, an undocumented immigrant from El Salvador, had been in immigration detention since 2022 while deportation proceedings against him were pending. But on May 7, shortly after a federal appeals court ordered the government to keep him in the United States, immigration authorities deported him back to his native country.

Speaking of which, here's a new twist:

So it appears someone, gee I wonder who that might have been, forged the letter, and another dangerous criminal, who just happens not, apparently to be a criminal or dangerous at all, gets the boot. Soon nobody will be left to wash poor Kristi's dishes. You could put them down for the dogs to lick, but...

I know we've always had liars in government and all, but geez, these people aren't even competent at that!

He said the officers were looking at a computer and at employees. Apparently they did not see whatever or whomever they were seeking.

Instead, they took two employees, said Ametrano, because “they didn’t have a physical ID.”

"These are not the droids you are looking for."
"Don't worry, we'll arrest them anyway."

Might it be for tear gas?

I'd say yes, they've definitely used smoke or tear gas on people who tried to stop them kidnapping people. Possibly non lethal rounds like rubber bullets or bean bags? They've also been carrying paintball guns to 'tag' people trying to run.

Have you seen her 'apology' for that comment? The woman is truly vile.
I did, yes, and I must say it is almost admirable how much worse she managed to make it by "apologising". Had a look at her position on abortion; strangely, she is against it. Why, I wonder, they're just going to die anyway. She seems to be that weird variety of rigth wing person who doesn't give a ◊◊◊◊ about people once they're born, but cares very deeply about fetuses.

Pro-Life until someone's born, then ◊◊◊◊ 'em, they're on their own.

This time they used "flash bangs". From the article I linked to a few posts ago:
ICE officers tossed two flash bangs to back the crowd off.

I believe the proper term now is less lethal, saw a video of plastic rounds being fired from a launcher, and yeah a hit in the wrong place and you could suffer a life threatening injury.

WTAF?
Congressman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) issued a statement following a DHS raid on his Manhattan office, during which one of his staffers was detained. In footage originally published by Gothamist, DHS officers can be seen aggressively handcuffing a crying woman and forcing entry into Nadler's office without a warrant despite the protests of his staff.

Nadler's New York office is in the same building as an immigration court, where protests took place against Trump's mass deportation policies on Wednesday. DHS officers claimed that Nadler's staff was "harboring rioters" as their reason to enter and search without a warrant.
Their "boss" pardoned a whole bunch of rioters.
"DHS agents forcefully entered my Congressional office and handcuffed a member of my staff," Nadler said in a statement, adding that he was "alarmed by the aggressive and heavy-handed tactics DHS is employing in New York City and across the country."

"President Trump and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are sowing chaos in our communities, using intimidation tactics against both citizens and non-citizens in a reckless and dangerous manner."
"If this can happen in a Member of Congress’s office, it can happen to anyone — and it is happening," Nadler continued.

DHS officials said officers of the Federal Protective Service were responding to reports of protesters in Nadler's office, because they were "concerned about the safety of the federal employees."

This contradicts the behavior of the officers themselves, who can clearly be seen handcuffing a frightened member of Nadler's staff. The DHS statement is also discredited by the officer conducting the raid, who can be heard in the video saying they were entering because the staffers were "harboring rioters."uch

This is a trial to see how much intimidation they can get away with. They want to stifle all dissent. ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊.

So much for citizenship.

This is such an insane headline. These are illegal alien families. They can all go home together.
