True.
2. OBL was on dialysis. Status:
Appears to be True (according to various reports).
3. OBL lived in a cave fortress. Status:
Not True. Though he did do interviews and some hiding in caves pre and post 9/11.
4. U.S. Airspace is the most heavily defended airspace in the world. Status:
True to an extent. U.S. Airspace is heavily defended but is not impervious to penetration or mistakes.
5. Hijackers overpowered the passengers and combat trained pilots. Status:
True.
6. Hijacked planes were flown wildly off course for a long period of time. Status:
True.
7. Hijacked aircraft weren't intercepted. Status:
True.
8. The hijackers who have been described as Islamic fundamentalists drank, did drugs and associated with strippers. Status:
