How do you explain the threats of violence that are/were common occurrences in the loose change forum? Or the praise for the murder of the abortion doctor in a truther forum?

Violence may not be the hallmark of the truther movement, but it is CERTAINLY not discouraged by truthers, either.

CIT forums where they list a lot of JREF'rs personal info is a great example of that

Gage says he's given 99 speeches. Not one of them has been here in front of eyewitnesses and people that knew the towers and worked in them.

So you cannot back up your claim? Making lists? are you aware CIT/PFT BOTH have an enemies list? Of jref members and others that have done noting but refute their theories? JREF has no such list.

Yeah...that's a bit childish. But although the jref may have no formal enemies list I have no doubt about your bad feelings towards he Truth Community. I know that as well as anybody.

There's a bit of a problem here with the definition of the word "debunker". If we take it to mean "anyone who doesn't support the truth movement", then bill smith would have a valid argument, because people who don't support the truth movement make up the vast and overwhelming majority of the population, and therefore almost certainly can account for more than five murders. However, that's perhaps not a line of argument bill would like to emphasise. If we define "debunker" to mean "someone who actively argues against the truth movement", then there's a rather bigger problem for bill smith, because any murder by a debunker would have been seized on so quickly by the truth movement that we'd hardly have failed to hear of it. Of course, there's the usual truther hyperbole by which any and all deaths in Iraq are described as murder by the US Government, and the US Government is included in the definition of debunkers; but then, if bill had meant that, he'd hardly be saying that he can't back up his vague accusation. So that can't be it, and we can exclude deaths due to the actions of the US Government. Who does that leave as the definition of debunkers? Why, us, on this forum, of course.

Therefore: Bill, you've accused a movement, one largely defined as a subset of the past and current membership of this forum, of murdering six or more people. Please provide (a) evidence, or (b) an apology.

There are far more debunkers than Truthers as you are quite fond of telling us so therefore it follows that there will have been more murders from among your ranks than from ours. Anyone that looks into the history of statements from the leading lights of the "Truth Movement" will find that may half of them are to some degree anti-Semites and Holocaust deniers. They just haven't killed anyone and hopefully they will never act out on their fantasies.

The ratio of debunkers to Truthers on the jref has to be at least fifty to one. I've never participted on any forum where debunkers did not outnumber Truthers by at least three to one. WWell- perhaps the pilots. So the statistics still hold fine.

Many people have never even considered an alternative view to the OCT because they have never realised that there is an alternative view. That or they have just taken the 'conspiracy theory nutters' viewpoint as they were intended to. The government didn't start the conspiracy theories and develop the '9/11 conspiracy theorist nutter'' template for nothing after all.

Those are the people we are reaching in increasing numbers.
