Merged Continuation - 9/11 CT subforum General Discussion Thread

This forums reason to exist is to argue whether someone in the U. S. Government made it happen (9-11) (or something rambling like that) or let it happen.

Actually, it's "[a] place to discuss alternative interpretations, theories and explanations of the terrorist attacks of 9/11". It's right there under the link to this subforum on the Conspiracy Theories index page. I'm not sure how you screwed that up...

Originally I thought that you could turnover a few stones, (that Bush was intentionally not looking under) and the conspiracy and the actors would be revealed.

The 19 were helped by direct actions of people in the U. S. Government.

These direct actions have been called mistakes and/or coincidences.

Originally I thought that any influence used to intentionally degrade U. S. Intelligence and Defense would be overt and easy to spot. But a lot of the people it seems to be leading to, are not in that many of the “Truther” databases. Some of them are just names, no clues about what they are, or where they came from.

CIA personnel have cover stories, they actually have some truth in them, or the cover story wouldn't work.

Other members of the conspiracy, (some completely unrelated to 9-11) have peculiar indicators. Their Wikipedia entries have either information minimized or completely missing.

Too many of the people involved, if they were questioned at all, got a slow softball across the plate. Some have literally disappeared into the machine. Some parts of the government are so secret that it is very difficult or nearly impossible for someone like the FBI to get any picture of what is happening on the inside.

These direct actions have been called mistakes and/or coincidences are key to unraveling the conspiracy, if it exists.

Often the Bush Administration would pull out all of their dirty tricks and foot dragging, when they were going after whistle-blowers. Those people created a lot of public trails that could be followed, usually backtracking to some right wing think tank in the present time.

If anyone knew about 9-11 in the U.S. Government, they don't seem to have learned it from the U.S. Government. And Israel is not as much of an obvious choice as I originally thought it to be. They would have not been this clumsy, unless their tradecraft is in serious decline.

Obvious, provides emotional certainty, if a conspiracy exists, then understanding it/(or not it) is a challenge.

This is not multiple choice, this is a thesis.

Equally likely to your great big IF thinking, the evil cabal using Idiot George as their front man/distraction instigated the entire 9/11 conspiracy movement to deflect attention away from their ill-conceived and still unexplained desire to invade Iraq.

And when you lose the argument it's time to stop.

Losing an argument just means I learned something that I didn't know.

Just because it's my argument doesn't mean its any good, I have good days and I have bad days.

Do you remember that brain sucking thing in Starship Troopers, would you prefer that or an argument?

I am like one of those Zombies that needs the information in a brain, not its nutritional value.

You have to back an argument up with facts and evidence, two things that the truth movement, such as it is,conspicuously lacks. The rest of your post was gibberish.

Yeah that STUPID cloud bank in the Bush administration was so big and thick that you could have hid dinosaurs in there.

Did anyone else feel that?

There isn't any problems finding conspiracies in the Bush administration, it is trying to figure out whether it is relevant. And by conspiracies I would mean criminal corruption. Though they kept changing the laws to unmake their crimes, that may not have actually worked.

Right now they are trying to figure out if it would be easier to burn down the Department of Justice (leaving the rats inside) and just start over. Eight years of Ashcroft, Gonzalez, and William Welch.

Its like trying to teach a retriever what a duck is. The DOJ wouldn't know a criminal unless their politically biased boss told them"That is a criminal." They were a pack of rabid squirrels that would attack anything. Did in one of their own republican senators in Alaska. Ambitious, but none too bright.

I missed the bit where you produced facts and evidence. Try again.

You shouldn't have drank that beer that those little men offered you. Yes, you have been asleep for a long time.

The only thing important that changed is that man is no longer at the top of the food chain.

What is that gibberish supposed to mean? I usually sleep about 8 hours a night. Why would little men offer me beer? Who are these little men? Leprechauns, pygmies or just under-nourished? I've never met them. Say hello to them from me the next time you see them. What does the food chain have to do with 19 terrorists hijacking planes and flying them into buildings? Are you feeling alright?

I love the internet. I used to have to ride the bus for this kind of entertainment. Now I can get random gibberish in the comfort of my own home. And I don't have to smell you.

I assume you're trying for a Rip Van Winkle reference here, as if daffyd has been asleep since 9/11. Didn't quite work, and as an answer to request for evidence of your claim it it's as empty as a hobo's bottle.

Better luck next time.

Not smelling them is a big advantage. As empty as a truther's brain.

I disagree. The odor is a warning system and limits the amount of time one is willing to spend with them. Conspiracy theorists, hoax believers and other internet nutjobs lack this and the world suffers.

You have a point. One is inclined to spend more time with these eejits on the net than one would on the street.

After review and discussion, the Mod Team has decided to close this thread. Whilst it served its initial purpose as a "catch all" for topics that did not fit well into other 9/11 conspiracy theory threads, that is no longer the case. Most of the posts and discussion now are not "one-offs" that don't fit elsewhere, but rather it seems the thread has descended into little more than a free-for-all of bickering and incivility without any attempt to discuss matters in the many cromulent threads that exist on the various topics.

Going forward, discussions of 9/11 conspiracy theories should be conducted in topic-specific threads.
