Having the opportunity to look for work in the rest of the EU

This one really bugs me as well. Not only are the gammon trying to turn Britain into a 1950s Little England nightmare that never really existed anyway but they want to make sure that everyone else is stuck suffering with them.

How dare those bastards deprive me of my right to go a live and work in 27 other countries so they don't have to hear people speaking Polish on their high street or have to suffer the indignity of having some odd looking products on their supermarket shelf.

Well the Brexit debacle probably renders Al Murray's new TV show moot:

Why Does Everyone Hate the English?

I can readily imagine Ceptimus as Murray's 'Pub landlord' character, convinced England is the greatest nation in the world and sure that the EU will inevitably recognize this fact and come begging for terms at the last minute.

American donors are giving money to US fundraising bodies that pass the donations to four thinktanks in Britain. A Guardian analysis has established that $5.6m (£4.3m) has been donated to these US entities since 2008.

If the NHS fails as the current government seem to wish then there is a lot of money to be made by private health companies. Another nail in the coffin for the NHS would be the loss of funds from the Wellcome Trust as warned in the Observer:
We have invested in the UK for more than 80 years. It has provided an environment in which science and innovation can thrive, but if the conditions and the culture here are damaged, that will affect our support. It is not unconditional.
Wow. Ok.

If I ever get asked: "When did you realize that the UK would really break apart?", I may point to this, right here.

As an English person can I, on behalf of myself and a significant percentage of English people, please distance myself from the comment you're responding to. He/she does not represent me.

Has she considered going into politics?

what I didn't realise, was that this was based on an actual proposal by Johnson.

I know that he has an expensive education and can be quite erudite, but the more I see of him, the more I think he's an expensively educated idiot trying to look like a clever person pretending to be a buffoon.

I didn't also realise that this Festival of Brexit Britain poster was actually a response to a suggestion by the PM

It's getting silly - but I did notice the evocation of a non-existent 1950s

Oh I know that. It is just what you posted wasn't the truth, or are 38% of Scottish voters not true Scots?

The majority for Brexit in the UK overall was 1.3m. 1.9m of that was from England. You can work out what that means the majority was outside England.

Thanks English gammon.

There's even Sainsbury own-brand kabanos sausages now. It's an outrage!

I resent that. May have posted this before, but this is me, making friends with one of my Scottish cousins. She didn't say much, but it might have been the language barrier.

From that angle you look like an unshaved version of Ted Raimi.
