If Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales want to leave the UK.
What an oddly telling turn of phrase. Exactly what UK would there be without these three?

A century ago the United Kingdom ruled the islands of Britain and Ireland in their totality, and its rulers referred to that polity as "England". Soon only England will be left to them, but they will call it the "United Kingdom".What an oddly telling turn of phrase. Exactly what UK would there be without these three?

Remain supporters continue with the negative propaganda about leaving, because even they can't think of anything positive to say about their beloved EU.
Saying what (they think) we might lose is negative. If they want to be positive they should say what they hope to gain in the future by remaining in the EU.
Not losing the stuff we're going to lose. It's not ******* rocket science.
United England?

What? We get that if we remain in the EU? I thought that was one of the things remainers enjoy sneering about that we might get when we leave the EU.Blue Passports made in France?

One notes the fourth, missing country. What an oddly telling turn of phrase. Exactly what UK would there be without these three?
Could be that the English are fed up of subsidising the EU. And also fed up, though to a lesser extent, of subsidising Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales.

A former global empire lamenting the toil of having long-subjugated appendages to care for.Could be that the English are fed up of subsidising the EU. And also fed up, though to a lesser extent, of subsidising Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales.

That would explain why the English are so eager to get rid of them.
I always wondered about that. Hardly worth the effort of conquering them in the first place.
