Moderated Bigfoot- Anybody Seen one?

Whether or not you discover the location of our research area, you are encouraging people to visit it. Doing so does two things. First, we operate almost exclusively on private property. Signs are posted. Encouraging people to enter the area without permission is asking them to break the law. Trespassing on your neighbors backyard is no big deal. Trespassing onto land like this in this part of the country is considered very serious.

Second, you know for a fact that many members of the group are seeking to collect a specimen. Instead of leaving us to our task (the one many of you say must be done before you'll accept the existence of the animal), you're hoping people will enter the area. If this is done without prior coordination with us, you are knowingly putting people into danger. What kind of game are you playing? Is it possible for you to step outside your tiny bubble and appreciate the larger ramifications of your actions?

I appreciate the predicament we put you in since there are really only two options with regard to our claims. We are either telling the truth and wood apes are real or we're lying. If we're telling the truth, we are closer than anyone has admitted being to collecting the type specimen we all want. When that happens, many of you here will have a large crow to eat since you are not true skeptics. You have already made up your mind. You seek no new information and will accept almost nothing. In fact, I think you fear it. The TBRC is on the brink of potentially changing your worldview and I must imagine that's unsettling. If we're lying, I don't see how anything you do here will either reveal us as the liars you think we are or change one iota of what we say or do. But, I suppose, you will all congratulate yourselves on convincing one another of that which you already believe to be true.

Let's see if this post gets to stay. The TBRC honestly believes you're inciting people to break the law as well as encouraging others to engage in potentially life-threatening activity. The TBRC will continue to operate in the area we call X regardless of what happens here. You may find it, you may not, but the only thing your efforts do is cause us to redouble our efforts.

OK, according to Bipto they were there for 90 days. On each and every day they had evidence of these creatures.They "know" that they're there. 30 members of the TBRC were there in that 90 day period. They have already stated their "pro kill" position, and are intent on collecting a type specimen. But, in that 90 day, 30 member timeframe, they didn't manage to shoot one.

Maybe Bipto, if you read this you'll understand why we're skeptical.
 
Bipto, How many different Landowners are involved in the property you are operating in? It can add up quickly how many families you need to keep track of, especially if you have one owner in plain sight coordinating activities with other people doing the hoaxing.

No wonder bigfoot remains unknown. Some bigfoot are apparently running willy-nilly all over a small chunk of land well known to footers, who have been in the area for months, and we still have no usable evidence of bigfoot's presence on the land.

Seriously, who behaves this way? If I had concrete evidence of the anthropological find of our lifetimes within my grasp, there is no way I would leave until I had concrete proof. Then I would, oh, I don't know, release that proof out into the world.

I still want to know what the blood turned out to be after the shooting incident. I mean, I'm sure a year is enough time to get some results, isn't it?

I'll second this.

There would be lots and lots of scat, footieprints . . . er, footprints, hair, trails, implements . . . that sort of thing.

Not as good as a specimen but a start.

THe main question to be asked is: How much are members being charged to be a part of this "study". Because I can assure you, money is changing hands somewhere.

I'm down for that. In the meantime I'm just going to keep turning up the heat.

The county plat maps are going to have all the private property parcels with driveways and easements on them, and this is public information. We can get exact GPS coordinates for the gate to the driveway, but more importantly look into that section line right of way along the south boundary. There is a trail coming up from that valley below too - I need to look at the winter satelite maps to see it better at the top.

I'll look into the Recorder's Office too because some things are recorded but not platted yet for one reason or another. These may not be available electronically, but I'll call the county if they're not, and scan them for posting here.
 
The reason they haven't shot one is because they know it's a hoaxer. They may shoot into the air or at other things (to fool each other) but they will not be shooting a Bigfoot. They know that the Bigfoot is a hoaxer in a costume.

Yes, there is no real Bigfoot there. There will never be confirmatory evidence to show that it exists there or anywhere. Time will pass and these people will spin, play and bogduggulate this whole charade in whatever manner they choose. It will just fade after time passes. But no Bigfoot.

You are looking at Bigfooting for the 21st Century. I think the standard will be multiple and simultaneous eyewitnesses with intense documentation that resembles science. But never a body.

There isn't much else that Bigfootery can do to perpetuate the myth. The multi-witness/habituation push is one which tugs very deeply at those who would become Bigfoot believers (indoctrination). It's easy to say that some people could be mistaken or liars, but when 30 different people see (the same) Bigfoot every day then the question of being wrong or lying evaporate... evaporates for the mentally vulnerable. Those are the new Bigfooters, but it's the same as it ever was.

A vulnerability of rationality and reason.

Then you are a liar by your own admission. The consensus here by most posters (not me) was that Kathy Strain/Hairy Man was hoaxed. Did you guys hoax her or is she too in on the lie? If Kathy is a member of the "group" that means she is a liar as well. Again by your own admission.

The people who profess belief in bigfoot fascinate me. I can understand you bull$$$$$$$$ the bleevers on BFF but why come here and give the JREF the choice of true or lie when we all know your lying?
 
I'd bet Honobia would be all in for a Bigfoot themed park, where people pay big bucks to get in fairly ambiguous proximity to a Bigfoot, like the Jurassic park ride at animal kingdom, complete with a fak bridge failure.
