Moderated Bigfoot- Anybody Seen one?

Reading through that thread on the BFF makes me understand more and more what we're dealing with here. These are the same people who released the "Oklahoma Prairie" photos, which are obviously an overweight dude in a hoodie. I live like 2 hours from the spot they are claiming is "full of wood apes" maybe on my next day off I'll run up there and talk to some of the locals about the TBRC and see what I can dig up. I have several friends that live up in them parts.

Bipto: Can you provide any evidence at all of your "wood apes" other than stories? Can we see that evidence please? Thank you.

I'll second this.

There would be lots and lots of scat, footieprints . . . er, footprints, hair, trails, implements . . . that sort of thing.

Not as good as a specimen but a start.

tap-tap-tap

This thing on?

In November 2000 Russell Lumpmouth, a member of the Arapaho tribe, took two photographs that appear to feature a sasquatch-like figure. According to his account, he and several co-workers were cleaning up after an outdoor tribal function. His supervisor walked over a short distance from their vehicles to pose for a picture with a piece of litter seen lying on the ground. Lumpmouth followed with a borrowed digital camera. As he looked through the viewfinder and took the picture, he noted the appearance of a dark object in the background, visible through gaps in the foliage that aligned from his position. Advancing a step or two out of curiosity, he took a second picture as the subject turned and departed. The men did not initiate a pursuit. The photos were printed on high quality 8×10 photo paper. According to Lumpmouth, the office secretary said the images disturbed her and the files were deleted from the computer.

Well, ok, high quality paper!!!
Was this secretary actually Rose Mary Woods, who was previously Nixon's secretary? (I guess I'm dating myself).
But seriously, I assume the secretary was a woman and she was disturbed because this appears to actually be a man urinating in the bushes, where he went because he wanted not to be very "visible through gaps in the foliage that aligned from his position." He succeeded in concealing his johnson, at least. Of course, I could be wrong. Please let's interview HER!! I'm guessing this "outdoor tribal function" that had just finished, had served peepee-making beverages that also loosen one's inhibitions, amirite? I mean, can we be real?

oh wait, it must be authentic:
Special recognition must go to Jeffrey Meldrum for his encouragement and guidance.

I posted that before I read the public BFF forum about it being a lease. I guess the only thing left to do is verify that the shooting report came out of LeFlore County, then ABP might actually might be correct about the location.

I recall LeFlore County for the sheriff's report, although I cannot find my notes from the conference. Branson's nephew (I believe) involved the law because his car was damaged as he fled the area where the shots were fired. He wanted compensation. He initially believed that moonshiners were firing off a machine-gun (so quick did the TBRC empty his shotgun). The TBRC did pay for the damages to the car.

Weirdly, Branson's talk was critical of the TBRC and he said he was surprised that they would try to shoot one. The TBRC still is field researching there and I recall somewhere that Branson has not requested a no kill restriction for the TBRC. Yet, Branson believes Bigfoot are people. What the hey?

Bipto on his podcast said the shooting was not where he had his summer Spring adventure, but not too far from there.

What other purpose would there to be for posting that?

To show how remote it is?

Here's a better example of remote:

Head west along the 401 (Trans-Canada hwy) until you reach Toronto. Hang a right, and go straight for 2,699 miles/4,344 km. Brush the snow off your boots and take a breath of fresh air, you're now in Alert.

Oh how I miss that place...

If it's a hoax, then these hoaxers are even more dedicated than we are. They were present for every one of the 90 days spent on-site this year (including the very first and very last). They are present when we arrive unannounced. They operate at all hours of the day. They are able to accomplish amazing feats of physical prowess no non-Krypton human could. They are also perfectly comfortable around armed individuals looking to collect a specimen. There really is zero chance it's a hoax. Absolute zero. That's why I said it's either all true or we're totally lying. There is no other choice.

Also, I don't think anyone in the group has "hope" regarding the existence of these animals. We know they're there. We have seen them. The only thing we hope is that our documentation of them happens sooner rather than later.

I'm having some trouble with the bolded bits. Three months of continuous activity and nobody is able to bag one?

Do you see how that might look and sound a little suspicious? Ok, a LOT suspicious?

90 days x 30 people = 2,700 man-days, and nobody got so much as one shot off?
one guy, an armed services veteran, got off approx. 10 shots so fast the nephew thought it was an automatic weapon. Whether he hit or missed is uncertain. He thinks he hit something. No hair, blood, or tissue was found at the scene. Some drops of "blood" reportedly were later found some distance away. That was over a year ago and they still haven't released the results of DNA testing.

I assume the sheriff inspected the actual weapon in question (how would he know it was?) to ascertain that it was NOT an automatic weapon. Because, that would be, you know, illegal.

That's the thing that's most perplexing. When the cameras are present, they avoid them. They will not approach. When the cameras are down, they come in. I alluded to it on BFS 38 but didn't connect the point. Once we took all the cameras up on the mountain side, we had a lot of activity near the cabin. When the cameras were up, we didn't. We have no idea how or why they're so good at avoiding them, but we can't argue with the observation that when cameras are present, they aren't.

It just amazes me that anyone believes any of this.

and
Alton Higgins, a wildlife biologist, and member of the Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy recently submitted an article to The Relic Hominoid Inquiry website, created by Dr. Jeff Meldrum. The article contains an investigation of two wood ape photos from Central Oklahoma.
If Meldrum encouraged and guided, and this was submitted to Meldrum's Relict Hominoid Inquiry, WTF happened to it? how could it not be published? I mean, "high quality 8×10 photo paper..."

Of course the BF Folk believe this.. I mean it is repeated so often in their ranks. It must be true. The only time an electronic device of somekind actually works is when it actually documents a human in a .. oh.. nevermind.

Yes.. It is getting better all the time Good song btw...

This is the area in January with the leaves down:

I've circled where the most recent logging and re-planting has occurred, not sure when, but this cabin site overlooks the Beech Creek scenic/recreation area. You can see trails all over, which is nice. Nifty place for sure. But we want to characterize it honestly, that's all.

The comment about the vast majority of the activity being on private land is perplexing. Because it is all of one whole acre. What can you do on one acre? The additional comment about the squatches not being out in the wilder places seems to say that in these 55,000 acres being used to claim remoteness, there is but one single acre with bigfoot activity.

On this one acre we have four researchers plus, say, two bigfoot. (Conservatively, because the entire regional population is on this single acre.) Six hominids per acre on this spot. That's three thousand times the population density of Alaska, but not bad by lower '48 standards. You're definitely going to notice those bigfoots. Those bigfoot will never be more than a hundred feet from someone.

I knew about that, but I thought the "90 days" was a separate expedition. Even so, it's just about inconceivable*, given the density of Bigfoot researchers per acre, that no one could get anything unambiguous.

* - And yes, I do keep using that word, but it does mean what I think it means.

Bnugle in the OK jnugle...

Full auto weapons are not illegal at all, actually. Just need the proper forms and permits.

Same with a suppressed weapon.

Only a few states restrict full auto and suppressors.

That area is known for its concentration of Zagnuts. This could be the reason for such a high concentration of sightings in such a small area. Perhaps they are farming Zagnuts in that specific area ? I am not sure what the leaves of the Zagnut Tree look like though. Perhaps some type of human appendage shape ?

Anyway.. after that area was deforested a few times like most places that BF now habituate.. but were never seen or recorded as being seen prior to 1977... they had to plant something ? Just a thought..

Regulation NFL-style football field (not including end zones) = 48,000 square feet

One acre = 43,560 square feet

So, in an area smaller than a football field, there are four researchers and at least one Bigfoot, and they can't find it in 90 days?

I'm not going to say anything about that. It wouldn't do for a mod to get reported.
