Huh?
It has a square base and sloping sides. When is that not a pyramid?
I just Googled it and it ain't much, is it?
The links in my post were to the lists of Mesoamerican and Egyptian pyramids. If you'd followed them, you would not have had to Google.
At least Teotihuacan looks like they got around to finishing it.
Hmm, the Pyramid of Neferefre
WP was never finished, but it's still called a pyramid. The Pyramid of Khendjer now only rises 1 metre above the sand, but it is still a pyramid.
In the case of Cholula, it hasn't been completely excavated and only partially restored, but archaeologists consider it a pyramid.
All that is being done here is excluding data that doesn't fit the a priori position of KotA.
You have ONE S.Am pyramid that is a little like one in Egypt.
If there was any correlation between the Egyptian and Mesoamerican pyramids, why is there so much variation between them?
For instance, the 2nd largest Mesoamerican pyramid, Pyramid of Flowers, (if you wish to exclude Cholula) has an area 28% that of the Pyramid of the Sun.
The 2nd largest Egyptian pyramid is 91% the area of Khufu, what's more, it's a better match for the Pyramid of the Sun, since it has a base area that is within 3% of the S.Am one, whereas the difference between the Sun pyramidand Khufu is 6%.
See how easy this is? Let's try numerology on these next to verify our numbers...
