Ahmedinajad Quotes about Israel

I realy don't care how Israel feels about the Holohoax.

:D

Israel hater.

Holocaust denier.

A true Muslim I see.

but of course you are not an "anti-Semite". there is a certain individual here who would argue as such.

so what do you say Tim? anti-Semite or not?

Interesting train of thought from parky here ....

A question.

A follow up question based upon the previous question not being a question but a statement.

Some kind of reference to 911.

Any chance of constructing a post that's coherent?

you sure do put a lot of energy into NOT answering questions.

He denies the Holocaust. He calls it a hoax. This is obvious anti-Semitism.

Now I have earned my monthly ADL paycheck.

Yup. I was right. Unfortunately.

Why do people think if you don't believe in the Holohoax, that you must be anti semetic?

Personally, I have nothing against the Jews or Judiasm.

They are a creative people and have a wonderful religion.

But I doubt many aspects of the so called Holocaust and feel it needs further historical examination.

Didn't they? Well Milton Bearden, the CIA Field Officer for Afghanistan during those times talks of his dealings with them in the BBC Documentary. 'The Power of Nightmares'. It's in part2. You can hear it from the horses mouth.

Your ignorance is formed by blinkers perhaps?
I'm sorry, but i do not trust you to accurately describe what the show says. I couldn't find the part you describe here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t77MRdL0jtM

Still waiting for someone to actually refute these quotes. I guess we all know he did actually say these things.
I'm sure you can give references for each of those quotes. And yes, they're vile, disgusting
** looks for Roget's to find more synonyms

especially the Holocaust denial ones, and, to add, his "Holocaust conference" was a sick joke.

So there can be no more confusion about the President of Iran's true intentions about Israel, here are some of his exciting quotes about the Jewish state. (the "wipe off the map" quote is purposefully not included)
You omitted that one because of the controversy over the translation?

I respect the Iranian people, but this man cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. If the West doesn't have the stomach for the job...the Jews will handle it.
In the end, he'll not be the one to have the red button, but more about that below. And I guess you mean "the Israelis will handle it"? :)

Israel can do quite well without the measily $3 billion in yearly aid. Its just a nice extra...and a bribe for the 1982 peace treaty with Egypt.
That's for another discussion, but I note there's quite a lot of poverty in Israel for a western nation. Socio-economic issues have been put on the backburner for decades in politics in favour of security.

Anyway, Ahmedinajad seeks the physical annihilation of Israel.
There's no doubt about his Holocaust denial in his statements. His statements about Israel, how hateful they may be, though, seem more to have the tone "Israel's disappearance/dissolution is inevitable" than the tone "guys, help wipe Israel off the face of the earth". Only nr. 12 speaks of actual humans fighting with Israel. I'm reminded of a story of Skeptic's, where he asked an Israeli Arab who said similar things if he'd be a martyr for the cause. "Of course not", replied the Arab, "let Allah take care of it; I've gotta earn my daily bread".

Though Tim has taken the interesting tactic of instead of refuting their legitimacy, stating that while they may be true, they are irrelevant due to Ahmedinajad's actual influence in Iran.

I would like to think that if he actually has little power in Iran, and was just a noisy yet powerless figurehead, the CIA and Mossad would be well aware of that.

Yet somehow, for some reason, they seem to think his views and statements are dangerous.
Ahmedinajad has little power. The actual power is vested in the Supreme Leader and the Council of Guardians. Why the CIA or the Mossad? The Foreign Offices know this all too well; hell, even wiki knows it:

I'll be honest, I don't complete trust the Mossad. But I do trust our CIA. I have seen ZERO evidence that even some far off wing of the CIA considers Iran to be nothing to worry about. Even before the Iraq War started, we knew about CIA doubts about WMDs in Iraq.
I'm surprised at this. I'd rather trust the Mossad in the quality of their intelligence and even their (internal) judgement, than the CIA, which has bungled quite a lot the last 20 years and have shown a profound lack of field operatives knowledgeable with local customs and languages and instead rely on guys behind computers in Langley.

And the fact is, if two years from now, Iran fires a nuclear tipped missile towards Israel, Israel's defenses fail, and a nuclear explosion destroys Tel Aviv and a million Israelis with it..they would be dancing in the streets of Tehran, Baghdad, Beirut, and Amman for weeks on end.
It'll take Iran much more than 2 years to develop a bomb. I doubt there would be many people dancing in the streets when they see an actual mushroom cloud, let alone when they see the effects of the fall-out on Nablus and Ramallah. Lastly, I don't think the Iranian government - Ahmadinejad included - would be so stupid to actually use a bomb against Israel. It would not bring them anything useful, and it carries the almost certain risk of retaliation with deadly consequences for Iran.

ETA: my impression is that Ahmadinejad's anti-Israel rhetoric is primarily meant to gain influence in the Middle East, e.g., with Hezbollah and Hamas. Let's not forget that Persia is, in various incarnations, an old nation, and its eye on influence to its west go at least back to the days of Cyrus the Great.

To end on a provocative note: I think it's very strange, to say the least, that the only state in the world that has nuclear weapons but doesn't admit it, censures and even contemplates action against another state that may try to acquire them.

If the Holocaust did not happen, then hundreds of thousands of Jewish survivors are lying about their experiences in the concentration camps. Along with hundreds of thousands of Poles, Serbs, Czechs, Germans, and others..who actually witnessed the gassing and shooting of the Holocaust victims.

This would require a gigantic conspiracy of people, all sworn to lie about their experiences.

But of course, the Holocaust deniers always focus the conspiracy..on the Jews. It is the Jews who lie about what they saw. It is the Jews who fake the numbers. It is the Jews..who actually fled to the USSR and Israel..rather then get killed off... (yet the Jewish population of the USSR shrank by about 2 million after the war).

The "Holohoax" conspiracy..is a Jewish conspiracy. That is why it is anti-Semitic.

But you already know this and you are just playing ignorant devil's advocate.

Now that the Cold War is over, the only nations in the world that may actually need nuclear weapons to ensure their survival, are South Korea, India, Pakistan, and Israel.

Is there any doubt that the Arabs would definately try to destroy Israel using conventional weapons..if not for their nukes?

I disagree. The dissolution of the Soviet empire has brought much more insecurity to the world, IMHO. In the Cold War bipolar world, a state that felt threatened by its neighbor could turn to the other superpower for help and protection. That option is off the table. The US/Europe/NATO is already overstretched with two conflicts (Iraq and Afghanistan). Russia after its deep fall, is quite aggressively trying to re-assert itself as a first-class power, and tries to regain part of its sphere of influence.

Is there any doubt that the Arabs would definately try to destroy Israel using conventional weapons..if not for their nukes?
Do you have that little trust in the IDF? Or in the US replenishing armaments in case of war - like with the Phantoms in the first days of 1973, or like the US also did during the Lebanon war. Or in a Dutch defence minister authorizing secret arms deliveries without knowledge of his prime minister (also happened in 1973).

You're a bit late to the party, parky. Didn't you yet know that Sunni Man is a holocaust denier? Others have tried arguing with him before about it; to no avail.

it makes this job very easy..when folks who hate Israel and defend Ahmedinajad....also deny the Holocaust and are obvious anti-Semites.

First you accuse me of denying that guy is an anti-semite, and then you ask me?

Why ask me if you've already made your mind up?

but since you ask, Looks like an anti-semite to me.

Be glad you've actually found a real one for a change. What's worrying is that don't seem to be able to distinguish between racists and political criticizers

That's such a stupid statement.

I am 100% against anti-semitism.

Not believing in the Holohoax does not make me anti-semitic

You should find the proper length videos. That video you linked to is only 29 minutes long. The episode is 59 minutes. Milton Bearden's stuff is earler on in the episode.

You can find all three full length episodes on google video. They are all over 59 minutes long.

All three are highly recommended.
