AE911Truth.org to Ryan Mackey: "Debate our Rocket Scientist"

Ryan,

"Our rocket scientist" was sarcasm. You are referred to as a "NASA scientist"

What is your degree in?
What did you do at NASA that qualifies you to analyze what caused the collapse of WTC 1, 2, and 7?

Or are you just a concerned citizen?

What does it matter? can you refute any of his arguments? or are you still a basking shark in a sea of ignorance Christopher?

He has the physics acumen that seems lacking in AE911T.
You already know what his credentials are? Why ask for them again?

He has consistently destroyed the PfT and CiT contentions. Perhaps you would be more confortable if he resticted himself to that area given that his specific expertise is in aerospace engineering.

Back to the WTC though, even I, an electronics tech with some university math, chemistry and physics can easily see the lack of scientific reasoning used by Gage et al.

sulpher=thermite residue?? only if one ignores the huge number of other possible sources

iron spheres=thermite?? only if one ignores the relevent expertise readily available that indicates this is not the case.

I like the back and forth about Mackey's credentials. I never thought I would see an argument where ppl were like, "pfft, he's just a rocket scientist--they're a dime a dozen even we got one. Rocket scientist....come on."

I mean in all seriousness I understand why ppl are arguing over it but it is still funny.

You fail to target RM's arguments, you target his credentials in the hope of discrediting him.

That's an Ad Hominem.

Boy, 5 grins.. 5! One really has to explain the most basic of matters.
Ryan is referred to as a NASA scientist, indicating expertise.

It is a fair question to ask what this expertise is.

If he has no applicable expertise then he is speaking as a concerned citizen.

Wasn't Jim Fetzer part of the Scholars for 9/11 Truth with Steven Jones before they split it into 2 groups consisting of A&E For 9/11 Truth?

AFAIK they split up into Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Justice:

(Which really makes it feel I'm watching Life of Brian all over:

REG:
Listen. If you really wanted to join the P.F.J., you'd have to really hate the Romans.
BRIAN:
I do!
REG:
Oh, yeah? How much?
BRIAN:
A lot!
REG:
Right. You're in. Listen. The only people we hate more than the Romans are the ****ing Judean People's Front.
P.F.J.:
Yeah...
JUDITH:
Splitters.
P.F.J.:
Splitters...
FRANCIS:
And the Judean Popular People's Front.
P.F.J.:
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Splitters. Splitters...
LORETTA:
And the People's Front of Judea.
P.F.J.:
Yeah. Splitters. Splitters...
REG:
What?
LORETTA:
The People's Front of Judea. Splitters.
REG:
We're the People's Front of Judea!
LORETTA:
Oh. I thought we were the Popular Front.
REG:
People's Front! C-huh.
FRANCIS:
Whatever happened to the Popular Front, Reg?
REG:
He's over there.
P.F.J.:
Splitter!

I don't remember there being any affiliation with Gage's group?

Christopher7,

So what he's been called a NASA engineer or research scientist?

He works for NASA!
Ronald introduced Ryan as a "scientist" and an "engineer" indicating special knowledge and experience, implying that he is more qualified than the average concerned citizen to speak about the science of the events of 9/11.

What is this special knowledge and experience?

Why don't you call NASA & find out?!

Actually, most engineers would be more qualified to speak about the science than the "average citizen" simply due to their education and experience with mathematics and physics theory and practise.

Chewy,

Why don't you say what is qualifications are?

Do you know?

Weeeeeeeeak man, srsly?

To elaborate, you know what his credentials are. We don't need to hold your hand and repeat something that you can find out in the very links that you have posted in this thread?

.: weeeeeeeak, man.

Ronald does not explain what Ryan does and how it qualifies Ryan to speak about the science of 9/11. He does not say if Ryan has a degree in engineering or anything else for that matter.

So are you saying it is unacceptable for a host on a TV show to introduce his guest by telling you a little bit about his background?

Also, aren't you getting what you want? They're not saying that it is because he is a rocket scientist that he is correct. If they could just do that, then why did Mackey present all that sceincy stuff with his fancy power point presentation?

If you were consistent, you would ask the same questions about Szamboti.

Both people live and die by the facts and engineering expertise they bring to the discussion. By my dusty and long-unused engineering education, Mackey makes sense. Szamboti, not so much.
