The second question, what time did Bush become aware of the attacks.

I am curious why they wish to no this for starters (though I know why certain paranoid people want to know), WHY is it relevant?

Secondly, didn't bush become aware that it was a TERRORIST attack when Andy Card leaned into him and told him of the second plane.

So how was it not adequately answered.

Thirdly, For those paranoids who think Bush is hiding either (A) orchestration of, or (B) purposely allowing the attacks, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK HE WILL TELL THE TRUTH UNDER OATH???

Well all comedy aside, the question goes to the point that the vast majority of these victim family members almost certainly are neither LIHOP or MIHOP. If you presume the president and his minions are evil enough for either of the LIHOP/MIHOP scenarious, then you have to presume that they are evil enough to lie, oath bedamned, so what good is having them under oath???

Why would there be a second investigation that would be nothing more than a colossal waste of time and money? I mean seriously TAM, if I were to shoot someone in full view of thousands of eyewitnesses, what good would an investigation be into my guilt or innocence? I agree. A second investigation is a waste of time, unless it is very specific and very focused. If it could be reasoned that following up on the money trail and international backing of the hijackers would be worth while, then I would be ok with such a focused investigation. The rest of it, I think, is as you have said, a complete waste of time and money.

TAM, if I shot someone in full view of thousands of witnesses what good is an investigation into who gave me the money to buy the gun going to do? Is it going to change my guilt? Another red herring of the mentally challenged TM is exactly what this is. Follow it at your own peril.

William pepper - not an engineer, not a person that has extensive knowledge about terrorist ogranizations, not a politician who handles foreign affairs. Dont see how he is qualified

Lorie Van Auken - what is her expertise in teh above other than being a wife of a victim on 9/11?

They're going to vote to determine who else gets added to the commission (with an upper limit on the number of members). They will also bring in subject-matter experts wherever appropriate.
