This is a challenge to the 9/11 truthers. Since the accepted version of events on 9/11 are available in the 9/11 Commission Report and the NIST publications, I'd like to hear your version of events.

This is not the thread to question the accepted version. Instead, simply provide the basics - who, what, when, where, how, why - of what you believed happened and the evidence that supports it. Since the accepted version contains all of those things, you should also do so.

What I want out of this thread is to find out what you've pieced together in your 5+ years of hard research and investigations.

I wish I could do that. But, we simply don't know what happened that day. Well, we are sure about at least one thing and that is that the Gov't version, the official conspiracy theory. The one about 19 Mulim cokeheads equipped with boxcutters is false. There is simply no evidence for it.

The only way to find out is to have a new investigation as independent as possible, I would love to see representatives from the 911 truth movement and from the victim families in the commission.

Yes we do know what happened on that day.

Four planes were hijacked. Two were flown at high speed into the Towers, a third hit the Pentagon. The fourth was brought down because the passengers onboard fought back.

This was a terrorist attack, against innocent people.

I do not need the USG to tell me this.

So do the phone calls that described hijackers with boxcutters not count as evidence, or do you just dismiss that evidence as being made up?

Or are you using some non-standard definition of evidence?

there is tons of proof that the 19 hijackers did it. they learned to fly, they got their faa licenses, they bought tickets for the flight, they trained in al qaeda camps, and some even left suicide videos. what more evidence do you need? a personal letter from mohamed atta to you specifically taking responcibility?

as far as a "new investigation" is concerned, i think its a farse. the 9-11 truth movemant doesnt believe the 1st governmant investigation..and they wont believe a second one. the facts of 9-11 are in your face...you just dont want to accept them.

the goal of the american people should be to get us out of iraq and prevent future middle east wars. the 9-11 truth movemant is hampering that effort. thanks a lot.

You know better than that, Oliver -- the box cutters were reported by passengers on the planes:

As on American 11 and United 175, the hijackers used knives (reported by one passenger) and moved all the passengers (and possibly crew) to the rear of the aircraft (reported by one flight attendant and one passenger). Unlike the earlier flights, the Flight 77 hijackers were reported by a passenger to have box cutters.

Binalshibh claims that during their time in Spain, he and Atta also discussed how the hijackings would be executed. Atta said he, Shehhi, and Jarrah had encountered no problems carrying box cutters on cross-country surveillance flights.
