I think he can try but there's no mechanism for the Federal government to "seize ballots". First, they don't have the manpower to do it. We're talking like 3,000+ counties. It would take coordination between multiple agencies and would abso-◊◊◊◊◊◊◊-lutely require local police forces, ballot counters, and election officials to comply.

There's just no way to get it done, and mind you the election is in less than a month. No matter what that stupid bitch says there is no logical way for Trump to accomplish that.

That makes sense but what makes you think the fat clown won't at least try to do it?

He may try to do it in some places, to sow doubt and cause chaos, but it's not just 3,000 counties, many counties have multiple polling places, maybe even hundreds. According to this link, there were over 95,000 polling places in the U.S. in 2024.

More than 95,000 polling places were used in the 2024 general election, according to the 2024 Election Administration and Voting Survey (EAVS) report released by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC). The EAC also reported that less than 3% of those locations were election offices—the vast majority of polling places were at other sites, such as libraries, schools or churches.

Make no mistake, I know he'll try to do something crazy, and I don't doubt it'll be something like this, but I don't think it'll be successful.

Trump doesn't plan things out very well, and even if they are planned out well he ◊◊◊◊◊ them up at the first opportunity. Then he goes into blitz mode and throws ◊◊◊◊, or ketchup, at the wall trying to get something to stick. It generally doesn't work and then he goes back to bitching about it online.

I'm sure he'll target the biggest Dem cities too because he's ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ dumb as hell. I would expect Dem cities to know what's coming.

She may be corrupt, but..
...it's a small price to pay for men in womens' sports and Iran nuking the USA.
(their missiles can't even reach the UK if they have a nuke)

For those who are unaware, here's some good advice:

Susan Collins pays for ads attacking her opponent to run in Portland......Oregon.

Not that I would ever want to defend her, but for the sake of accuracy, she didn't pay for the ads or place them. Other people were the idiots here.*

* However, she is also an idiot.
Ads promoting Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) appeared to target the wrong city of Portland in a Republican super PAC mix-up, running the advertisements in Oregon instead of Maine.

“During a recent independent expenditure, our media vendor mistakenly placed approximately $25,000 in digital advertising in the Portland, Oregon media market instead of Portland, Maine,” a spokesperson for Republican Main Street Partnership (RMSP), the nonprofit affiliated with GOP super PAC Defending Main Street, told The Hill.

“The error was identified, the ads were immediately stopped and corrected, and the vendor is refunding Defending Main Street the full amount of the misplaced spend,” the spokesperson said. “No donor funds will be lost as a result of the vendor’s error.”

The Diesel deal will drive even more undecideds to the Dems, and in the end it is the swing voters who decide elections.

Marsha Blackburn, GOP gubernatorial candidate for Tennessee has managed to take AI cringe to a new level with a video showing her rapping Kendrick Lamar's song "Not like us".

Uhm, is it a good idea to steal a well renowned battlerapper's song? I don't know that this is going to end well for her.

Also, the folk that are "not like us" are specifically people like Blackburn. She is personifying the song.

It is typical of MAGA to lionize songs that were written to criticize people just like them. I remember a bunch of MAGA slam dancing to Rage a few years ago....

Slam dancing to Rage, using Fortunate Son for a billionaire's walk-in, using Born in the USA as a "Patriotic Anthem"....

Let's remember this song (and its presentation) had them foaming at the mouth with rage a year and a half ago.

They forgot to claim that Talarico was probably adding a few more genders while absent.
It gets uglier. Recently, Talarico disappeared from the campaign trail for nine days. He and his aides said it was a bad case of the flu. His conservative opponents pounced, spreading a rumor that he had been at a mental health facility in Ohio, a state Talarico said he had never visited.

That story proved false — The Times obtained time-stamped security camera images showing that Talarico spent a week at home — but the episode offered a lesson for the age of misinformation, my colleague Bayliss Wagner reported: “It is politically risky for a candidate, even one too ill to campaign, to disappear for nine days.”
...But as attorney general, he (Paxton) was charged with felony fraud. He cut a deal to drop the charges in exchange for paying restitution and performing community service. Then, a group of his aides accused him of bribery and abuse of office. The Texas House impeached him in 2023.
