Just imagine... after losing to Kamala this year, he could still technically not be dead yet for the 2028 campaign!

I got a flyer in the mail today from a local Republican Assemblyman describing his "inflation relief plan".

1. Cut sales tax.
2. Cut property tax on farms.
3. Cut taxes on local manufacturers.
4. Use existing state money to pay off debts small businesses owe ... to the state.

It's the last one that gets me. Use your own money to pay off what someone else owes you. I guess "write off the debts" might sound too much like student loan forgiveness.
Interesting. Each of those measures would work to accelerate inflation.

Trump reiterates claim about helicopter trip but doesn’t provide records

The GOP nominee doubled down on an earlier claim that may instead involve a trip with former California governor Jerry Brown or with a former Los Angeles councilman.

Former president Donald Trump insisted again Friday that he took a dangerous helicopter ride with former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown, telling the New York Times that he would release flight records.

Trump, who did not release the records, told reporters at a news conference Thursday that he had ridden in a helicopter with Brown, who dated Vice President Kamala Harris 25 years ago, claiming that Brown had criticized her during the flight.

Brown, who is Black, called Trump’s story “fiction.” Former California governor Jerry Brown, who is White, and the state’s current governor, Gavin Newsom, said they rode in a helicopter with Trump to survey the fire-devastated town of Paradise, Calif., in 2018, but they said Harris was not a topic of conversation and the landing was uneventful.

Former Minnesota Governor and Independent Jesse Ventura just announced he is endorsing Kamala Harris for President.

He also called JD Vance's criticism of Walz military record ‘despicable’

Trump claims his plane had to land in Billings because of mechanical problems but in apparently he couldn't land at Bozeman because the grifter owes the airport $12,000 from the 2020 election cycle. He also still owes the Billings police department $58,830.

I am sure he will release the flight records in 2 weeks time.

That sounds plausible enough, but I haven't seen any confirmation of it. Do you have a source?

I'm listening to Trump at Mar a Lago. The amount of craziness coming out of his mouth is gobsmacking. It's one lie right after another. Literally. I haven't heard one truthful thing out of his mouth. Not one.

He's really one sick puppy. I could make a Kristi Noem reference here....

He did all the same at the "debate." But back then, more of the sentences were complete.

Oopsie Mr T.

Wrong black guy.

The other Black politician who says he was with Trump in that near-fatal chopper crash

The man who almost crashed in a helicopter with Donald Trump told POLITICO Trump confused him with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown — despite the former president’s repeated insistence it was Brown.

It was Nate Holden, a former city councilman and state senator from Los Angeles, who said in an exclusive interview late Friday that he remembers the near-death experience well. He and others believe it happened sometime in 1990.

“Willie is the short Black guy living in San Francisco,” Holden said. “I’m a tall Black guy living in Los Angeles.

“I guess we all look alike,” Holden told POLITICO, letting out a loud laugh.

I have no comment I can post. :(

So there really was a helicopter after all? I'm actually surprised. I was expecting it to come out that Trump has never been in a helicopter at all, and was just inventing every aspect of that story.
