Good jobs guys. We're going to get concern trolled over saying Trump said "bitch" instead of "******* bad" and that means everything Trump did isn't the worth talking about for months now.

You don't need to worry about supplying ammunition to the idiots/crazies, they don't need it. They can invent their own. These are people who already reject reality, for them it literally doesn't matter whether a real event occurred as reported or occurred differently or didn't occur at all.

Also: who cares if Trump called Harris a bitch? I call people "bitch" all the time. I've called Trump that, too. It's not even in the top hundred thousand worst things Trump's said about people. I'm sure he's called Harris a lot worse things. Why wouldn't he? He's her rival for the job they both want. Are we supposed to be shocked over that shocking use of that shocking word? Or are we supposed to pretend to be shocked because, for some reason, we're ascribing a gentility of manners to political candidates even though we all know they ain't got 'em?
 
If she hasn't been describing policy goals, that makes me slightly curious what she has been talking about at all these campaign stops. If she's just been describing the campaign's mood, that's a bit Trumpian.

I can't blame her for not publishing detailed policies so far, though. As long as things are going the way they're going so far, just going with that flow is a perfectly sensible thing to do. Sooner or later I'd want more detail, but the right time to come out with it is... whenever there's enough demand for it from the people she needs to listen to & respond to. Until then, a perfectly legitimate reason to not talk about it is that she might not have decided a lot of things herself yet, so she's presumably using this time to actually come up with answers for policy questions, not just idly waiting.

I'm not entirely sure what was said. It sounded more like "she's so ******* bad, though..." which, after calling Biden a broken down piece of crap, among other statements, ought to be enough to cast some doubt on the finesse and character of the speaker, even if he didn't say the word "bitch" out loud. The "f" word was clear enough, and characteristic enough. Precisely what he might have muttered is no more important than the color of his snot.
 
Whatever the words were, the mood & tone were that stereotypical old grump everybody in town hates because the grump's always grumping at somebody about something.
 
AGAIN, Trump presents something that is not definitive, but could be taken a couple different ways. I know many times he doesn't even do it on purpose, but happenstance and circumstance just takes it in that direction. HOW does he keep managing to do that? I'm so sick of arguments about that guy.

Because his enemies keep trying to make him sound more ridiculous and foolish than he already does, so they twist what he says beyond all recognition and then when rational people look at the claimed horrifying comment it turns out to be a bagel. Kudos to those who against their natural inclinations said they heard "effing bad" instead of "effing bitch."

As for blaming this one on Trump for not being definitive, I do like the point that he "keeps managing to do that." I'm guessing that he steps right up to some imaginary Rubicon and yet fails to cross? Which is amusing because Rubicon violations are being mentioned in threads here constantly.

OK I just watched and listened to it.

After saying it's now Kamala he says she's going to be better, she's so bad. Then he says something that definitely includes the word ******* which I can't otherwise make out, but seems to be referring to some difficulty he's having getting a glove on. Then he returns his attention to the person he's talking to and asks a question about something entirely different.

That's how it looks and sounds to me, anyway.
 
Meanwhile, Trump is slowly shedding support like a dying dog sheds fleas.
I know there's a certain level of never give up, never surrender, "Trump or Die", die hard's out there, but what percentage is that?

At some stage over the next couple months, the big R players are going to have to notice Trump's cheese and cracker have officially parted company.

It's only August - the Harris/Walz Team won't be able to keep up this momentum - too many factors not under their control.

Plenty of things can happen to make Trump less unappealing, and polls always narrow the closer we get to November.

We are still very much in the 50/50 territory.
 
Well, the obvious message to them is "don't get complacent, keep pushing/fighting/whatever".

Which they seem to be receiving.
