[Continuation] The Marjorie Taylor Greene thread - Part II

It's part of the price we pay for free speech: You have to ler the jackasses have their say also.

I don't mean why are they allowed to speak, I mean why do they have people listening to them as if their blather is relevant.

It was a rhetorical question. We all know some people are suckers for an old-fashioned self-loathing religious con.

Green just came out swinging for Alex Jones.
I hope nobody is surprised.

MTG must be absolutely covered in fleas:

When questioned by a prosecuting attorney during the trial about his promotion of baseless, QAnon-style conspiracy theories about political elites running child-trafficking networks, Jones mentioned ties between Epstein and Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Greene said of Jones' remark on Thursday: "I'm going to text my friend Alex Jones how much I, along with countless millions of people, are proud of him for that answer."

Jones has backed Greene since she launched her political career back in 2020, repeatedly hosting her on his show and lavishly praising her. In July, he suggested that she should run for president.

Like Jones, Greene has peddled conspiracy theories falsely claiming that mass shootings were hoaxes, and once confronted and harassed David Hogg, a survivor of the 2018 Parkland high school mass shooting.

The two of them are made for each other. I can only be grateful that the pair never spawned offspring together.

Two goldfish in a tank. One says to the other, "Do you know how to drive this thing?"

I'll get me coat...

From your link, it's not only the Moron Trumper from Georgia:

"Republican Rep. Andy Biggs, the current chair of the right-wing House Freedom Caucus, appeared last week at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and also explored some of the goals he’d like to see his party prioritize if they’re in the majority next year — particularly when it comes to law enforcement.

“There are things you can do,” the Arizonan said, reflecting on Congress’ power. Biggs added, “You start defunding some of these bad agencies. The FBI. The DOJ.”

That this is coming from supporters of the POS who actively and openly tried to use the DOJ and FBI as his personal policing force is jaw dropping but not surprising.

I keep on telling you people....time to arm up. The GOP Has gone insane, and will stop at nothing.

Pretty certain they have absolutely zero idea what the word "defund" actually means, and what such an action implies. I wouldn't leave them alone with a knife and fork (they could harm themselves), let alone allow them to drive a car (they could harm others). And as for being competent government employees...perhaps not (they could harm the country). ;)

Searching through my old posts, because I know this has come up before ...

It's the verbal equivalent of a cargo cult. Invoke the magic words used by "the other side" to try to produce the same effect, regardless of whether they're appropriate in the context or their meaning is understood. We saw it with "DefundTheMedia", claiming that questions about vaccination status "violate HIPPA", and accusations of "unmasking" Tucker Carlson.

We're ramping up election ads bigtime in my area and "I will never defund the police!" is said, verbatim, in like all of the Republican and at least one Democrat ad, as said with no context just the word "defund" put out there with obvious "scare cord" connotations.

Margie strikes again: In her podcast discussing monkeypox, she said it is "transmitteded".

The woman really does have **** for brains.

Lix CHaney will almost certainly lose.

MJG is now the most famous single GOP woman in congress.
The GOP can go to hell. I think it eventually will, question is how much damage will it do in the meantime.

We're talking about someone who thinks solar power means the lights won't work after sunset.

As much as Madge's malaprops, misconceptions and meanderings are grist with which to grift her imbecilic constituency, she still finds time to demonstrate just how unfit she is to hold any public office besides interstate rest area commode cleaner.

Ditto Boebert.

Just when you think emptyg can't top her last one she does.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸 @RepMTG
Impeach Merrick Garland, gut the DOJ, defund the corrupt FBI, and Impeach Biden.
Weaponized law enforcement is communism and has no place in America. Twitter link

She attacks American officials, she attacks American institutions. She should be on a leash. ;)
