The prophecies of Ama

1975 Prophecy 4 – God will be set aside and other things only to obtain the desire for a position [in the government]. (Itatawil ang Diyos at tanang mga bagay makamtan lamang ang pagnanasa ukol sa panunungkulan.)
 
“and other things” may include the killing of our fellowmen or cheating in the elections or intimidation just so that the person’s desire for the office in the government would be obtained.

Well, that's a fine tradition that goes back as far as voting. In the 1800s in Canada, at least, it was common practice for the voting places to be surrounded by thugs with clubs who wanted to make sure that only people who agreed with them were allowed to vote.

That's not a prophesy. That's a generic statement about human nature. Some person somewhere will abandon god to pursue personal political power. That applies to a very select group of people consisting of ALMOST ALL POLITICIANS EVER.

Is it a general trend, specific to the Philippines, one bloke somewhere or what?

How many more of these prophecies are just, "Something that has happened for a long time will continue to happen"?

Since PeaceCrusader likes Olympic prophecies, I predict that some athletes at this Olympics will be caught doping and that Canada will win at least one medal in hockey (but hopefully two, fingers crossed).

From what I've seen, Maria Liwayway Alvaran is an example of an old-school medium who weaves a local devotional text and the KJV plus mediumistic trickery into a spiritual show.
