The prophecies of Ama

There are 15 prophecies listed in the Record of Life for 1975 and beyond; 14 for 1976; and 10 for 1979. More than 35 years have passed. We will be able to know if they have already been fulfilled, are being fulfilled, or still will be fulfilled.

I will try to translate the prophecies to English the best that I could. For Filipinos, the text that Marcial Aguila wrote are enclosed in parentheses.

1975 Prophecy 1 – Life that the world is experiencing will become harder than the present. (Mag-iibayo pa ang paghihirap na dinaranas ng daigdig sa kasalukuyan.)

That is not a prophecy. You could make anything fit that. Ever tried to get a needle for a really old, antique record player? Obviously life is harder for antiquarians.

Ever tried to get a launch vehicle capable of travel to the moon? Obviously life is harder for astronauts.

Why bother? Failing prophecies do not seem to bother you.

Just cut to the chase and send this fraud all your money. She's gonna end up with it anyway, sooner or later.

Why bother? Prophecy #1 is already garbage straight out of the blocks. It is no different than any of the Nostramoron prophecies, or any other prophecy for that matter. If even one can be saved from this nonsense then it would be a worthwhile effort. The remaining 14 will provide more um, information.

I wonder what would happen if Tom Skylark and PeaceCrusader ever collided. Their prophecies are so diametrically opposed. The only thing in common is end times. Otherwise PC has it in the south pacific on prophetic grounds, while TS has it in the ME on biblical grounds. I cannot imagine how these disparate ideas could be reconciled. Might be fun to watch.

1975 Prophecy 1 – Life that the world is experiencing will become harder than the present.

I see a couple of problems with this prophesy.

First of all, it starts with a 50% chance of being correct. In all probability, life will either get better or worse.

Secondly, it is vague. Harder in what aspect? Less food? More war? There are many different aspects of life. Some have gotten better, such as medical science and ease of global communication. Some have gotten worse, such as deforestation, endangered species and terrorism. Without specifics, this prophesy is essentially useless.

We will. You won't.

No biggie, PeaceCrusader, but how many Fillipinos do you think are following along at home here? I ask this mainly because you've already admitted that your ideas gained little to no traction when you first mooted them in your home country and I'm beyond curious to know why you would have thought they'd do better here.

A weird time in which we are alive. We can travel anywhere we want, even to other planets. And for what? To sit day after day, declining in morale and hope.

Philip K. Dick

Your prophecy is profoundly pathetic. Its portentous projections appal people with their pretention and puerility.

Please piss off with them.

I'd like to counter PeaceCrusader's prophecy with one of my own.

His response to all the meanie naysayers here will be something very similar to:

"The one who can say the truth is none other than you. If Ama says that that is the truth and to you, it is a lie, then it is wrong. And if Ama says that is not true and to you, that is the truth, then it is wrong. Therefore, I am not the one to say that a thing is true or not but your own self. Also consider the coming world war which will start at Spratly Islands, in his time, in God's time."

The Allied Association for the Abolition of Arbitrary Alliteration would like a word with you regarding the above. ;)

PeaceCrusader, your prophecy is not a prophecy at all. It's too vague and it's not time-specific. What is the second 1975 'prophecy'?

Here's a way better prophecy than any of "Ama's" BS:

There shall in that time be rumors of things going astray, erm, and there shall be a great confusion as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth those little things with the sort of raffia-work base, that has an attachment. At that time, a friend shall lose his friend's hammer, and the young shall not know where lieth the things possessed by their fathers that their fathers put there only just the night before, about eight o'clock.

Why are we doing these one by one when we can just link to all of them in one go?

Awful, immensely vague or wrong, as far as I can see.

We've had those before, on page 2 of this very thread: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=8718656#post8718656

And on page 2 of another thread, over seven years ago: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=2310865#post2310865

1975 Prophecy 2 – Much blood will be shed all over the land. (Dadanak ang masaganang dugo sa buong kalupaan.)

Another stupid, vague prediction. What land? When?
Blood has been shed everywhere forever, basically.
There were a number of wars happening when the prediction was made.

Why am I doing these one by one? Because they are in Filipino and I still have to translate them to English. As I said, the original text that Marcial Aguila transcribed it is in Filipino. For your own satisfaction, you may use a translator from Filipino to English. For Filipinos or those who understand the Filipino language, that is the original text in Filipino.
