Nope, we just hear about natural disasters more now that we have rolling 24hr news coverage. There aren't more hurricanes, floods and droughts etc, we just hear about them more.
Nuclear war won't result in blood being spilt - people will be vaporised at ground zero. People who survive the initial blasts will die with no bloodshed; through radiation sickness, water-borne disease, lack of medical care or starvation.
If you claim the blood is merely a metaphor for death, that's even less convincing. It might just as well be a metaphor for a beautiful red sunset lighting up the land.

PeaceCrusader, anyone can post nonsense on the internet. Just because some crazy person thinks that it's amusing to make up stories about G. W. Bush's government purchasing guillotines, and posts these stories on the internet, it doesn't mean those stories are true.
