Presidential Primaries 2016

A bit of googling gives Christie's height as 5'11" and Taft's as 6'. I think Christie could give WHT a run for his money. Or a leisurely stroll, anyway.

I withdraw my question then. Christie must carry himself terribly. Obama, who is what, 6' 1, 6' 2, looks to be about 6' 5 in this picture assuming a 5' 11 Christie.

Or maybe Christie's "official" height is exaggerated.

They could do some Laurel and Hardy shtick.

Oliver: Come Stanley, let no one say that we were afraid to die.
Stanley: I don't care who says it.

No way on Scott Brown. I think he'd have a good shot at governor of Massachusetts in 2014. But if he ran for President, that means he would start campaigning about six months after taking office. There is also no way that the current Republican party would consider nominating a pro-choice, socially liberal candidate. Even if he does a switch on those issues, the national Republican party would no longer be even willing to look at yet another flip-flopping, formerly pro-choice and pro-gay rights governor of Massachusetts.

I definitely do not think the party will disappear. Barring some constitutional changes I think the Republican and Democratic Parties are permanent fixtures as organizations now. They will change and sometimes radically. I am more looking at this as if they can change and stay strong nationally or fail to adapt and weaken nationally for a few election cycles.

Agreed, I didn't mean to imply that you were in the delusional crowd who thinks that the Republican Party is going to fall away into obscurity. Actually, I think that all the partisan Democrats who want the GOP to get nuttier are nuts themselves. Even if they don't care about there being an opposition party strong enough to keep the Democrats honest they should at least keep in mind that a challenger election victory is often the result of the incumbents being punished. If, for the sake of argument, the economy slides back into recession during Obama's second term and is really tanking come the 2016 election I would much prefer the Republican candidate be someone rational and not a whack job who thinks that stories about talking snakes should be part of the science curriculum in schools.

Condoleezza is a ‘yes massah’ slave girl with no back bone and very little heart.

I wonder where the GOP talking point about liberal racism directed at conservative minorities comes from

My statements made in that particular post are the real perceptions most blacks have of Condi Rice. Even well respected blacks in our community like Dr. Cornell West and Tavis Smiley are skeptical of her loyalties, since it is probable that her loyalties would’ve undoubtedly led to limiting of black prosperity and equality, had her party been elected. So you can kiss an endorsement from any respected member of the black community goodbye. Oprah might be on the fence, but I'd venture to say that she wouldn't endorse Condi to keep her general appeal amongst blacks. Stacey Dash? Black people don’t respect her much either, and her former role in clueless is subject to further scrutiny.

Condi is going to have an exceptionally difficult time justifying her support for the Republican Party during this election cycle. Even as her counterpart Colin Powell endorsed Barack Obama because of his increasing concern of growing extremism resonating from the Republican Party base, Condi chose to remain in and support the Republican Party despite the fact. To make matters worse, she did not speak out against or state her concern about any of the radical things her party was doing. There is no question of it. Condi would not win if she were hastily nominated by the Republican Party to secure the minority vote, which in all honesty she never had to begin with.

1. Rice is not going to be running.

2. Your claim that most black people are hateful, racist bigots like you is absurd.

1. Good

2. Racist? Please, that would imply that I am self-hating or hate black ppl. That couldn't be further from the truth. There was nothing racist or bigoted about the statement. Boo hoo I used non-PC language, grow some skin. It was honest and truthful statement. Furthermore, Chris Rock and several other black comedians have done skits about this very issue. I must not be the only one who feels this way about her. I rest my case.

Do you really expect anyone to believe that your choice of insult, that she "is a ‘yes massah’ slave girl" had nothing to do with her race?

Are you implying that I am self-hating and would deliberately attack a member my race without good reason or fair suspicion of the conduct of the individual? Was it an attack against her or my entire race? This is fail if you ask me. Race had nothing to do with the labeling. Blacks only call out other blacks who have very specific stances which hurt our community or stand by those who are in a position to do the same. It is clear that Condi has done at least one of these things. Condoleezza is a sellout. I don’t know any other way to say it. She wouldn’t win the black vote for this very reason. Your attempt at derail doesn't change this. The original statement had to do with her electability, and there seems to be no disagreement between you or I on this issue.

No, I am saying that your comments show that your hatred for her is based at least in part on her being black. Some partisans hate people for holding different views than their own. You hate black people who hold different views than your own because they do not act how you think a proper black person should act. Your various insults towards Rice show a contempt for her that is based on her being black, that is why you are a racist.

Nope, my contempt with her has nothing to do with the difference of her stance, but everything to do with the destructiveness of her conduct. She has stood by and knowingly watched the Republican Party (neocons in particular) do harm to her community and has done nothing about it. She hasn’t even spoken out against it. Notice that I do not criticize Colin Powell who holds many similar positions to Rice in several respects. He had the courage to call out the Republican Party when it came to protecting his community. Thus he is exempt from the same harsh criticize. This is despite him supporting Obama, the situation wouldn't have matter. When it came time to call people out, he did it, and several blacks have tremendous respect for him for this reasons. Despite his failure as Secretary of State.

Wouldn't it be un-American to support someone who supports anti-American terrorists? It's the same thing. Your trivial attempts to equate my statements with racism don’t change this. Condi stood by and watched as several men around her harmed her community. She stood by like a good whipping posst and did nothing about it. To make matters worse, she has remained extremely loyal to these people regardless of what they have done. This is a slave girl by definition. Someone who is so scared and whipped ******** that they will not bring themselves to speak out. She hasn't even denounced the extreme elements of the Republican Party. She just nods and smiles like a good girl. "Yes suh, wheres ya won' me ta go suh, what can I do fuh ya suh?" If you are asking me to support that kind of self-hating foolishness, I won’t. That’s the equivalent of being American and supporting someone who supports terrorists. And I’m not afraid to call it like I see it. Condi is a loyal pet, a sell out, and a coward with no reserve or gull to call out people when it needs to be done. And for the fifth time, this is why she would not become POTUS.

It has NOTHING to do with her being Republican and everything to do with her conduct. She has conducted herself like a slave, therefore I will call her one.

LOL, doubling down on the racism is not a compelling way to prove that you aren't the hateful bigot that you clearly are.

Oh well bro, I tried, I really don't have time to explain things to people who simply want to get upset because I'm not using PC language. Your arguments still do not take away from my arguments which are factual. I have no time to continue the super derail that could happen because of this exchange. I have already stated the reason why I made my claim. She is a sell out. I for the third time can't say it a better way. You haven't disproven my claim; therefore your issue is with words rather than the actual argument itself. You cannot say that I haven't provided a legitimate argument as to why she will never be POTUS.

The End :)

ETA: I would say the same thing about any sell out, of any race. Let's get that straight before we continue. Thank you

Yep, you have made it extremely clear that you hate black people who do not agree with your politics. Like I said initially, it is people like you who give the left a bad name for being racist against non-liberal minorities.

L.Y.S.: You did nothing wrong. I don't understand why everyone is freaking out.

K, the bolded statement is false since I provided people whose political positions are different than mine and whom I still respect. I have provided more than enough logical reasoning to support my position. You have not disproven the logical reasoning. You simply disagree with the non-PC wording. You simply chose not to read the various arguments, which is your problem, not mine. I'm not a member of the left by any reasonable measure. I am actually a moderate who is forced to vote for the left since they are the current lesser of two evils. So I speak for no political party when I make my statements. This is the last time I will respond to a post regarding this issue since it seems to have devolved into mudslinging instead discussing the actual premises in my various arguments.

I wish you the best of luck,

L.Y.S.
