Moderated Will the 2012 Olympic Games in London be held?

I believe that the May 23 birth and August 17 death of Jesus were divinely revealed by the spirit of Ama. I myself have proven them to be true and correct that is why when he said that the world war that will originate from the Philippines on a Wednesday in the middle of this year, and that the 2012 Olympic Games (OG) in London will not be held (or completed), I said that they will happen as well. That is how confident I was. But OG was successfully staged and ended on 08-12. The prophecies failed.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. Apparently by proven you mean "bending reality any which way to confirm the stuff you've been told".

Seriously PC, you need to realise that Ama / Ka Apaz are wrong. At least try to think that thought, it will do you good.

...Our salvation depends upon our selves, and nobody else. That is, if we believe that there is life after this life. We are the engineers of the house we are building.

This shows how important it is to liberate yourself from this charlatan imitating a medium, PC.

Yes, svenax, I will keep using the word “proven” because I really have proven that the revelations of Ama of the May 23 birth and August 17 death of Jesus are true and correct. Just hang in there as we discuss this point by point. I have started with Foolmewunz. Do you have any questions regarding my analysis?

Not because a wrong prophecy will you conclude that everything else will be wrong. Be scrutinizing. Be discerning. Pick up what is good for your soul, if you believe you have one, and discard what is evil.

You have to understand that Ama is a spirit and Ka Apaz has her own spirit. Please read http://aristean.org/wp086.htm titled “How the Holy Spirit talks to people”. You may have to experience what we (plural) experienced to know that I am telling you that they are two distinct spirits.

There is a spirit which may be an evil one from the devil or a good one from the only true God.

This is what I realized a while ago: an evil spirit will “langkap”, possess, a body in order to talk to people, whereas a spirit from God will “lakip”, appropriate, a body.

In “langkap”, the spirit of the owner of the body will still be in his body. The extraneous spirit will possess the body and dominates it. Or there are many of them in a body. Matthew 8:28-34; Mark 5:1-20; and Luke 8:26-39 tell about the story about two men with demons. You may also read Matthew 12:43-45 and Luke 11:24-26 about the evil spirit.

In “lakip”, the spirit of the owner of the body leaves his body and lets another spirit to appropriate it and use it. That is why, http://aristean.org/wp086.htm titled “How the Holy Spirit talks to people”, in the standing mode without any cover or bedsheet, once the spirit of the owner leaves the body, the body collapses but rises again once the good spirit appropriates it. The body collapses again once the good spirit leaves the body and rises when the owner returns to his body. This shows that the body is dead without the spirit (James 2:26).

So an evil spirit will only “langkap”. It will not let the body without the spirit of the owner or else, the body will die. The evil spirit cannot stay in a dead body.

What? 1:50am is evening? Really?

What do you call that part of the night after midnight but before sunrise?

Ama revealed that Mary gave birth to Jesus at 1:50am. It was nighttime. The shepherds in the fields may be aslept or half-aslept when an angel of the Lord appeared to them announcing the birth of Christ the Lord.

Logical? It is for us to make the decision whether to believe the revelation of Ama or not.

No, you haven't. You have managed to get the dates to fit by distorting reality to fit them.

And remember, if you had actually proved that the dates were correct (i.e. if they are the only dates that fit your sources without fudging the figures) then Ka Apaz managing to identify the dates would be unremarkable because anyone with access to the information you used could have identified them.

20120827.1820How do you solve, Astreja, the “overpopulation” we are experiencing at the moment? Can the world continue at the rate that the resources of the world are being utilized?

Did you not read My earlier answer to this exact same question, Aristeo? That answer was "birth control, education and equal rights for women."

Killing 2/3 of the people on Earth is a pathetic non-solution, and utter barbarity.

Our salvation depends upon our selves, and nobody else.

I assert that there is almost certainly no salvation, Aristeo, for you or for Me or for anyone else. When we die, there is almost certainly no eternal life awaiting us. When you reach the end of your days on Earth, I believe that as your brain ceases to function you will forget who you were, and forever lose everything you ever believed.

You pointed out the following:
1. There is no reference in the bible to Mary giving birth the day or day after they arrived in Bethlehem.
2. There is no reference in the NT to an inn or inn-keepers.
3. The accepted route they would have taken would've encompassed 110 to 120 miles. That would require a donkey about 30 hours, unladen. Loaded with a nine-month pregnant Virgin? About 45 hours. And that's not counting Mary's constant kvetching and "need to make pee pee", rest stops or meals. That's solely the walking time. There is no way they made that journey in 3.5 days (you have them arriving mid-day on the 21st). That would've required 12 hours of walking (not counting breaks) each day, and that is not feasible.

My reply:
1. True, the New Testament does not give any reference on the day or after the day that they arrived in Bethlehem that Mary gave birth. Ama said that it was already evening and they were still asking people for accommodation. No one let them in because they were poor. Ama said that Mary gave birth at 1:50am of May 23. This agrees with Luke 2:8-20 that it was evening when Mary gave birth to Jesus.

3. From Nazareth to Jerusalem is about 100 km. Bethlehem is 8 km further south of Jerusalem. So the total is 108 km. Normally, a person can travel 4 km/hr. But on a donkey loaded with a nine-month pregnant virgin, say 3 km/hr. Assuming that there are 12 hrs of daytime less 3 hrs of ‘constant kvetching and “need to make pee pee”, rest stops or meals’, you are left with 9 hrs of travel. 9 hrs * 3 km/hr = 27 km/day. So they reached Bethlehem after 4 days of travel. They must have started their travel from Nazareth on Sunday, after the Jewish Saturday Sabbath. May 23, 33 BC was a Thursday.

I think you need to do some more studying of your NT and of history and of maps.

There is no mention of an Inn nor of them seeking lodging in the NT. You and Ama are reciting the local Church Pageant version of the birth of Jesus. It is not in Your Book.

1:50 AM is generally referred to as "the early hours of the morning" or "very late that evening". It's not significant because much of Luke is mis-translated and I'm not familiar with the particular passage, anyway.
2. An inn is in Luke 2:7, to wit: “She gave birth to her first son, wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger—there was no room for them to stay in the inn.

I think if you do some checking you'll find that "inn" is a mis-translation of "guest room". Joseph was heading back to his home town (if you believe the "go home to pay your taxes" variation) and they would have much more likely stayed with his relatives. There is repeated mention of manger, but no confirmation as to whether it was indoors or outdoors, in a stable, or the main part of the house. But other than that one mis-translation, there's no mention of an inn.

Again, do some checking. True Believers (NT Scholars, Professors of Divinity, History Professors, Authors) are aware that the distance is, as you roughly calculated, about 60 miles if you take the direct route. Unfortunately, though, the direct route would probably get you robbed or killed as it went the hostile territory of the Samaritans. The accepted route is that they would've trekked quite a bit eastwards and followed the river course. It would've been considerable longer than the helicopter route you found. (You did say they likely rode a donkey, right?)

Now, unlike the African Swallow, the known breeds of donkey at that time, could not do 24 mph. Joseph's humble donkey could do about 4 mph, unladen (maybe less - that's the calculation for big healthy modern donkeys). But with a big fat pregnant lady on board, maybe three mph, and more important than that,.... it DOES NOT MATTER the walking speed of the donkey. What matters, like in team time trials, is the last person to cross the line, and that would be Joseph - on foot. Human walking (strolling) speed is about 3 mph. A person out on a long trek is probably doing more like a long distance hiker, though, and that's more like 2.5 mph.

And you've got stops for breakfast, lunch, supper/dinner, stretch your legs breaks, pee pee breaks, etc... If, as you assume, Mary was birthin' that little Savior any minute, they might travel a maximum of five or six hours a day. The total, even at 3 mph, would be not more than 18 miles per day, or six days to get there (on the seventh day, the donkey rested - so sayeth the FSM).

Or nighttime. But this little bit of wording is far less than trivial compared to all the other whoppers PC has donated to our amusement.

I tell you that even the Devil says good things but he inserts and distorts things and presents the beauty of Hell. So be scrutinizing. Be discerning. Pick up what will be good for your soul and discard what is evil.

If wishing and hoping the horrible death of four billion human beings is good for your soul, I can't imagine what's bad.

Whether it was a mistranslation of “guest house” or not, “inn” is still in Luke 2:7. One thing though is that Joseph and Mary were poor people, and even though Joseph comes from the line of David, no one accepted them into their home simply because they were poor. You see, when Jesus was presented in the temple in Jerusalem, they could only afford a pair of birds, instead of a lamb. Luke 2:23-24 state: “And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord; )”. What is the Law of Moses regarding this? Leviticus 12:8 states, “ ‘But if she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, the one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.’ ” This is the same in Leviticus 5:7.

Ama said that Jesus was born at 1:50 AM. As you said, that time ‘is generally referred to as "the early hours of the morning" or "very late that evening" ’. The time when Jesus was born may not be in the Holy Bible but Ama nevertheless said that it was 1:50 AM. Whether we use the Jewish lunisolar calendar which starts the day at sundown or the Julian or Gregorian solar calendar which starts the day at midnight, 1:50 AM is still May 23.

Yes, ‘There is repeated mention of manger [Luke 2:7; a manger is a box or trough from which farm animals like horses or cattle or sheep eat], but no confirmation as to whether it was indoors or outdoors, in a stable’. The place was a cave hewn out of ‘limestone ridge in the Judaean hills’. Why were the animals not in the cave? Because the shepherds took them to the fields where the grass was abundant.

You were using miles and I was using kilometers. I think, your miles is about equal to my kilometers.

Wonder if tomorrow will be the day. Paralympics starting on a Wednesday. Got a good feeling about this one, how's the Spratleys looking?

Before you have your "birth control, education and equal rights for women" implemented completely, the world may have continued its population explosion, and it may be too late. As Ama said, the “utter barbarity” [your word] will be caused by humans against his fellowmen, not by God but by humans. Why? Because they do not know God.

Astreja, have you heard of spirit? Why do we have what we call ‘Holy Spirit’? There is really a spirit which we cannot see or touch that came from God, that is why we are alive. This is what makes a living person different from a dead person – the spirit from God. It is God who gave man his spirit (Genesis 2:7). It is God who gave the flying birds their spirit. If God recalls the spirit of these flying birds, do they not fall from the sky to the ground as what happened in 2011-01 in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Sweden?

True, “your brain ceases to function”, but why? Because the spirit has left the physical body. As James said in James 2:26, “the body without the spirit is dead”. Only God can make what happens to Ka Apaz that her spirit leaves her body and it collapses. It again rises when Ama appropriates it. Have you seen a dead person rises again unless God lets the spirit from God come in?
