Is everything that Ama said a lie? That is why I present what he says for our scrutiny, whether we believe him wholly, partially, or not at all. Just because he was wrong in his prophecies, you suggest that I should also abandon my belief in God.
Just because many of the people arguing with you on this thread believe in neither your mad woman nor God, that doesn't mean that disbelief in the one automatically requires disbelief in the other. There have also been posts by people who do believe in God, and who assured you that the woman was a fake long before her latest prophecy failed. So you can let go of your belief in this woman without letting go of your belief in God. Indeed if you are right to believe in the God of the Bible, then you are putting your immortal soul in great peril by continuing to put your faith in a proven false prophet.

And it doesn't matter how many times you repeat that you have verified some of her prophecies as true, the fact remains that posters here have shown you that all the ones you have shared with us are either worthless or false. Every single one, including the nonsense about the dates of Jesus' birth and death.

Edited to add: That's a very interesting hypothesis you have there, Aristeo, about your god holding off on the nuclear war to allow more people to come to belief.

Unfortunately, that particular hypothesis puts the lie to your earlier claim that humans, not your god, would be the cause of the war...

He did that earlier, too, when he claimed that his god would "allow" two billion people to survive World War III. This, however, is a much more blatant contradiction.

I checked “The World Book Dictionary” and here is how it defines seance and medium:

Seance - “a meeting of people trying to communicate with spirits of the dead by the help of a medium”
Medium – “a person through whom messages from the spirits of the dead are supposedly sent to the living”

How do you define seance, pakeha? And what is a medium?

I'll go with those definitions, PC.
Read them again and you'll they define perfectly what you do with KA.
With the emphasis on 'trying' and 'supposedly'.

Yes, there is a meeting of people to talk to a spirit, usually Ama, through Ka Apaz. But she does not convey to the people what the spirit says. The spirit of Ama appropriates her body and talks directly to people, which in Filipino means “lakip”.

I've seen such a thing faked far, far too many times to be impressed by your assertion, PC. The proof of the pudding, however, is that KA has sold your group false prophecies and a rigmarole of bad fiction with a cast of made-up characters including Reneliniyindi, her imaginary parents, Angelina Imden and St. Evngeline.

What was the reactions of the group? There are only three members who know what I am doing, all of whom are in the US. The one in New York City asked me what happened and the prophesied world war before or during the 2012 Olympic Games in London did not happen. I said I do not know.

Are you saying you have concealed the false prophecy from your group?

I said that I have talked only once to Angelina Imden. I will transcribe our conversation and post it.

You spoke to this person or you spoke via KA?

Regarding the Spanish text to be translated to English, I usually can understand the English translation only, including Wikipedia. But you there in Spain may have the original transcription of the documents, and many more, that is why your help will be beneficial to the group.

What documents do you mean exactly? I assume you're looking for proof of Reneliniyindi?
No problem.
Please post up their titles and links.

...Is everything that Ama said a lie? ...
I tell you that even the Devil says good things but he inserts and distorts things and presents the beauty of Hell. So be scrutinizing. Be discerning. Pick up what will be good for your soul and discard what is evil.

Do you believe you can outwit the devil at his own game?

I myself have proven that his revealed dates of May 23 birth and August 17 death of Jesus are true and correct.
BTW didn't you say that you'd discovered that August 17th was a Thursday? I can't be bothered to check that, but if it's true it's surely proof that the date is wrong. One thing all the gospels agree on is that Jesus died on a Friday.

There are cellular and chemical processes that occur when you are alive. When they are interrupted and cease, you are dead.

What do you think the difference is?

Didnt you say before that you proved the May 23 date? and this is one of the reasons that you trust Ka Apaz is not a fraud?

OK, so let's say I claim Jesus was born on May 22nd. What part of your proof can you quote to specifically show the date as May 23rd and not 22nd?

20120826.2030

@devnull, #3879

Why did the cellular and chemical processes cease? The physical body may still be there but it is cold when dead and warm when alive. What makes it warm or hot?

Yes, I have proven May 23 that the spirit revealed as the birth of Jesus is true and correct. The year was 33 BC.

You are saying to use May 22 instead of May 23 (same year, 33 BC, for example), am I correct? The spirit revealed that Jesus was born at 1:50 am.

It could not be May 22, 33 BC, a Wednesday. It takes four days to walk from Nazareth to Bethlehem on an animal (maybe a donkey) with a pregnant woman. They must have started their trek to Bethlehem on Friday morning, 05-17. They could not continue walking on Saturday because it was the Sabbath of the Jews. They arrived at Bethlehem during daytime of 05-21. They asked for accommodation but no one accepted them because they were poor.

Why Jesus could not have been born on 05-22? Simply because Joseph and Mary could not continue their travel on Saturday, 05-18. It was the Sabbath of the Jews.

I, on the other hand, am 99.999...% certain that the prophesies will not happen, and just as certain that your dates are wrong.

Perhaps because the prophesy was just something that a human made up, and that it has 0% divine content?

Happy? I'm overjoyed that you and Ka Apaz and the probably mythical "Ama" were wrong.

In fact, if your god is waiting for non-believers of Jesus to "wake up and come back to God" before it destroys the earth, I hereby vow to never, under any circumstances worship your god, from this moment to the end of eternity.

Oh, and I think I should seal the deal by committing the unforgivable sin, thereby making My salvation impossible. "I, Astreja K. Odinsdóttir, hereby proclaim that I see no appreciable difference between the works of the alleged 'Holy Spirit' and the works of the alleged 'Devil.'" :D

I say never. The Spratly Islands will not be the start of any major worldwide conflict, for the simple reason that from a strategic point of view they're small change. Trivial. Picayune. A mere shrug on the political landscape, and absolutely not worth the lives of 4 billion (or more) people.

Edited to add: That's a very interesting hypothesis you have there, Aristeo, about your god holding off on the nuclear war to allow more people to come to belief.

Unfortunately, that particular hypothesis puts the lie to your earlier claim that humans, not your god, would be the cause of the war...

I believe that the May 23 birth and August 17 death of Jesus were divinely revealed by the spirit of Ama. I myself have proven them to be true and correct that is why when he said that the world war that will originate from the Philippines on a Wednesday in the middle of this year, and that the 2012 Olympic Games (OG) in London will not be held (or completed), I said that they will happen as well. That is how confident I was. But OG was successfully staged and ended on 08-12. The prophecies failed.

I have one consolation though. Despite that the OG has already been closed, there is still the possibility that the Spratly Island dispute being claimed by the Philippines could bring a world war. When? I do not know. We just have to be prepared anytime.

You may pick any dates as the birth and death of Jesus and I will try to debunk them like what I did to devnull.

According to an analysis of the Wall Street Journal a few days ago, the Spratly Island dispute is one of the five possible conflicts that may be considered as flashpoint or powder keg. And that was prophesied more than 25 years ago.

Yes, humans will cause the death of billions of people. Not God but humans. When will they ever learn?

Is everything that Ama said a lie? That is why I present what he says for our scrutiny, whether we believe him wholly, partially, or not at all. Just because he was wrong in his prophecies, you suggest that I should also abandon my belief in God. I believe there is God who created you and me. What is the difference between you, FG10, who are alive and one who is dead in a coffin or in the cemetery?

I myself have proven that his revealed dates of May 23 birth and August 17 death of Jesus are true and correct. You may check them out and come back to tell the world that I was wrong in my studies. The results are for your perusal at http://aristean.org/birthmay23.htm and http://aristean.org/crucifyidx.htm . Point out the errors in them and we will discuss.

I tell you that even the Devil says good things but he inserts and distorts things and presents the beauty of Hell. So be scrutinizing. Be discerning. Pick up what will be good for your soul and discard what is evil.

'Ama' (you lucky, lucky thing) is a fictional character dreamt up by a scurrilous charlatan. If you believed not one single word of this pernicious hag you would be better off than you would be believing one or all she says.

Nice strawman, by the way, "just because he is wrong in all [her] prophecies" means you should stop believing in her claimed abilities. This has nothing to do with your belief in a god.

In terms of what the difference between me and a dead person is, I have the ability to think and communicate (among many other things).

It has been pointed out to you how your dates are erroneous on numerous occasions - how about addressing those concerns instead of constantly dodging enquiry you find difficult

You are consoling yourself with the thought that billions of people may be wiped out as a result of a minor territorial dispute?

Lovely.

Will the 2012 Olympic Games in London be held?

Actually, I am pretty sure they were already.....

Are you like FG10 who says that because of wrong prophecies, do not believe anything for they are also false? We have to be scrutinizing and check if they are true or false as well.

Just how bad does a so-called-prophet's track record have to be before you will no longer consider him/her a prophet?

PC,
This isn't even good Bible Study 101. Solely based on the NT:

1. There is no reference in the bible to Mary giving birth the day or day after they arrived in Bethlehem.
2. There is no reference in the NT to an inn or inn-keepers.
3. The accepted route they would have taken would've encompassed 110 to 120 miles. That would require a donkey about 30 hours, unladen. Loaded with a nine-month pregnant Virgin? About 45 hours. And that's not counting Mary's constant kvetching and "need to make pee pee", rest stops or meals. That's solely the walking time. There is no way they made that journey in 3.5 days (you have them arriving mid-day on the 21st). That would've required 12 hours of walking (not counting breaks) each day, and that is not feasible.

You are citing Christmas Pageants at Grammar School as fact. If you're going to be a good Christian, I suggest you read your Book a bit more.

Aristeo, all of us have rejected your alleged proof. If you want to convince us, you have to use evidence that's up to our standards.

Consolation?

Consolation?

You want a world war to happen? That, sir, is disgusting.

Yes, humans will cause the death of billions of people. Not God but humans.

And yet you clearly said that your god would supposedly delay the war so that more people could be "saved." If your god is in charge of when this war will occur, it must now bear 100% responsibility for all suffering that results from such a war.

You pointed out the following:
My reply:
1. True, the New Testament does not give any reference on the day or after the day that they arrived in Bethlehem that Mary gave birth. Ama said that it was already evening and they were still asking people for accommodation. No one let them in because they were poor. Ama said that Mary gave birth at 1:50am of May 23. This agrees with Luke 2:8-20 that it was evening when Mary gave birth to Jesus.
2. An inn is in Luke 2:7, to wit: “She gave birth to her first son, wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger—there was no room for them to stay in the inn.
3. From Nazareth to Jerusalem is about 100 km. Bethlehem is 8 km further south of Jerusalem. So the total is 108 km. Normally, a person can travel 4 km/hr. But on a donkey loaded with a nine-month pregnant virgin, say 3 km/hr. Assuming that there are 12 hrs of daytime less 3 hrs of ‘constant kvetching and “need to make pee pee”, rest stops or meals’, you are left with 9 hrs of travel. 9 hrs * 3 km/hr = 27 km/day. So they reached Bethlehem after 4 days of travel. They must have started their travel from Nazareth on Sunday, after the Jewish Saturday Sabbath. May 23, 33 BC was a Thursday.

The prophecies failed because the OG was staged and ended on 08-12. The OG was the stop point or end point. My consolation though is that there is still the threat of a world war from Spratly Islands being claimed by the Philippines. Please see events happening at the South China Sea.

How do you solve, Astreja, the “overpopulation” we are experiencing at the moment? Can the world continue at the rate that the resources of the world are being utilized?

Yes, humans will start the war. Not God like in Noah’s time, but humans. What God can do is warn us of the coming event. He could have delayed, or could have made us more prepared, for its coming. Ama said that it will inevitably happen. What is to be written has already been written. In about the year 2000, he said that it is very near. Sometime before, maybe about the 1990s, he asked if 25 years or 50 years are long wait. He said that time will pass quickly.

Our salvation depends upon our selves, and nobody else. That is, if we believe that there is life after this life. We are the engineers of the house we are building.

My reply:
1. True, the New Testament does not give any reference on the day or after the day that they arrived in Bethlehem that Mary gave birth.
No scriptural basis for your assertion then.

Ama said that it was already evening and they were still asking people for accommodation. No one let them in because they were poor. Ama said that Mary gave birth at 1:50am of May 23. This agrees with Luke 2:8-20 that it was evening when Mary gave birth to Jesus.
"Ama" said the Olympics would not be held, WWIII would be upon us and two thirds of us would be dead. Not exactly a reliable source.

2. An inn is in Luke 2:7, to wit: “She gave birth to her first son, wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger—there was no room for them to stay in the inn.
"Luke" made it up.

3. From Nazareth to Jerusalem is about 100 km. Bethlehem is 8 km further south of Jerusalem. So the total is 108 km.
As the crow flies. Did Mary fly, or did she travel the road on a donkey, following the road as it wandered? Are we now to accept an airborne Mary?
I think not.
Foolmewunz's estimate of the distance stands, and may even be low, given terrain and conditions at the time.

Only if you assume ideal conditions, and that they were airborne.

They must have started their travel from Nazareth on Sunday, after the Jewish Saturday Sabbath. May 23, 33 BC was a Thursday.
You are attempting to retrofit everything into your "prophecy". Your failed "prophecy".

Yup, failed prophecy.

My consolation though is that there is still the threat of a world war from Spratly Islands being claimed by the Philippines. Please see events happening at the South China Sea.
Yes. You want this. You actually want the deaths of 4 billion people.
You desire it. You lust for it. You dream of it.

How do you solve, Astreja, the “overpopulation” we are experiencing at the moment?
Chastity.

Can the world continue at the rate that the resources of the world are being utilized?
Not indefinitely. Killing 4 billion with nukes is not a solution as those remaining will also die slow agonising deaths.

Yes, humans will start the war. Not God like in Noah’s time, but humans.
Name any war NOT started by humans.
Also, Noah is a myth. Never happened.

What God can do is warn us of the coming event.
That's it? That's all he can do? Pretty useless so.

He could have delayed, or could have made us more prepared, for its coming.
But didn't bother, cos he's just that nasty.

Ama said that it will inevitably happen.
And we all know just how accurate "Ama" really is, don't we?

What is to be written has already been written.
Why does it need to be written, then?

In about the year 2000, he said that it is very near. Sometime before, maybe about the 1990s, he asked if 25 years or 50 years are long wait. He said that time will pass quickly.
Twelve years ago, it was "very near"? "time will pass quickly"? How can you not see that this is a non answer?

Our salvation depends upon our selves, and nobody else.
But you don't believe that. You lust for death and misery for 4 billion people as a solution imposed by your evil Dog.

That is, if we believe that there is life after this life. We are the engineers of the house we are building.
See above.
