Yo! Here be the August Stundie nom thread

One rarely sees the "No True Scotsman" fallacy is such blatant use:
Any truther who says no planes hit the towers is a government plant trying to make the truth movement look bad.

If those links don't work, do a YouTube search on "provocateurs, shills and disinfo agents".

No real truther would say that no planes hit the towers.

Here's some stuff about disinfo agents in case there's anybody who still hasn't seen it.

Yeah, I too would wonder how our new Mars Rover could get better telecom coverage than my hand-held device on Earth.

Or at least I would, if I had invested $80M per year into a purpose-built infrastructure, including dedicated 34m radio antennae on three continents, staffed by dozens around the clock, not to mention two existing spacecraft to serve as orbital relays... Had I put that kind of effort into my cellphone and still got lousy service, I would indeed begin to think I was missing something. :p

You mean you *haven't*? I thought that was one of the perks...

... there are fake Holohoax victims who were ACTUALLY suffering at the camps.

Which makes them fake ... how? How do we distinguish between them and *real* victims suffering in the camps?

No, no... He doesn't seem to doubt the tactics themselves. He apparently thinks the words given to them were made up by Hollywood writers.

Even if that were true, though, I'm not sure how he goes from that to "I doubt the blitzkrieg ever happened".

This is actually not so bizarre. While lots of Germans had used the words "Blitz" and "Krieg" together at the same time before, its pretty commonly accepted that the term "Blitzkreig" as referring to the Nazi invasions of Poland and France was popularised by the western media.

Just saying.

Not that CT make much sense in the first place but I find this comment remarkable in its ludicrousness.

If "they" don't want "us" to know about the Martians, why would "they" keep spending bazillions sending probes there specifically designed to discover them?

Damn that logic!

I've moved a bunch of posts to Abandon All Hope. Please, stick to the topic and refrain from bickering. Also, eschew the name-calling and personal attacks. Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.

I think I have made my case. What I haven't done much is pointing out the inconsistencies and huge amounts of special cases and modifications in the standard model of physics. I leave that as an exercise for the reader.

Another thing I haven't done much is to show if equations to my simple model really can be defined that match actual measured physical values. That's a huge task that I'm not willing to attempt. Besides, much more professional versions of this can no doubt be found in the journals of the secret scientific community, those who do real science instead of the toy science the public scientific community has been given to lead it into a false direction.

He should have ended that with "wakawakawaka"

Sorry. It's no April's Fool's joke that O's college transcripts are still sealed and we do not know if he did or did not receive a foreign exchange student scholarship. That April Fool's joke seems to simply be a cover for the real doubts about just who and what O is all about.

Yes, despite the claims being demonstrably based on an April Fool's Day joke, we still need to prove the claims false, because the April Fool's Day joke might have been true!
