I came to this forum of intelligent, atheistic and sceptic people
Not everyone here is an atheist. Not everyone here is intelligent, certainly not in all arenas, although we try our best to educate each other in the spirit of bettering ourselves.
I had my interpretations of his prophecies. I first guessed that it will happen under the zodiac sign of Cancer because the middle day of the year, July 1, is the 183rd day of 366 days. So my 31 days under Cancer was reduced to just four days, 06-27, 07-04, 07-11, and 07-18. It was logical to think 07-04 because it is the Independence Day of the US. The sneak attack on the US might happen on this day. But the day came and went. No war.
Then the only Wednesday under Cancer, 07-18, was the only one left, and I guessed that it would be it. Again, 07-18 came and went. No war. So it was not the zodiac sign after all.
First you tell us that it's the Holy Spirit, and then you invoke the sign of Cancer? I would suggest you read the Bible (specifically Jer 10:2, 27:9-10, Daniel 2:1-4, 4:7, and especially, Isaiah 47:10-14a). Not that I proclaim them to be true, but they point out the utter lack of foundation in your reasoning. The Bible specifically guides its believers away from astrology. Unless you're talking of a Holy Spirit that has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit that's in the Christian Bible, but I don't think a great number of people would make that same distinction.
Why did the prophecies fail?
What we have here is a binary solution set. Either the prophecies weren't true, or you misinterpreted them. You have
assumed that they are true and gone straight to the explanation of a misinterpretation. Can you explain why you did so? What confirmed, past, irrefutable proof of the possession of this woman by the Holy Spirit made you automatically assume that the prophecies were true, just simply misinterpreted?
I guess that the world war that he said back in 1986 will happen on this date. If 07-01 is the middle day of the year, and June and July are the middle months of the year, then is August still in the middle of the year? If we divide the year into quarters, August is in the third quarter. The second and third quarters are the middle quarters of the year.
So by your definition, fully half the year is the middle of the year - 180 days are the "middle" of the year. Take a step back, look at this, and tell me - honestly - that it makes sense to you.
Do not believe me as a prophet.
Oh, don't worry....have no concerns in that arena.
I am not a prophet. I am just echoing what I heard.
And so do some breeds of parrots. It's a tossup as to which brings more entertainment value.
The final decision is still with you.
Thank goodness for that! You see, the God that *I* believe in always gives me the final decision. I'm relieved to know that the inane mumblings of a disturbed and possibly mentally deranged old woman have not deprived me of my right to make a final decision.
My post probably comes off as less than civil. You see, PeaceCrusader (what a strange choice of screen-name, by the way, when you are crusading for war to break out)...you see, I am like most human beings. I'm neutral, perhaps even leaning towards good-natured, towards most other humans that I encounter. My attitude towards them from that point on relies entirely on our interaction together.
You have stated repeatedly that you were crushed and devastated that most of the worlds population didn't die in a horrific war. You've told several bold-faced lies, not the least of which was your promise to stop mentioning prophecy when a certain date came....which it did, yet you continued. Perhaps your most egregious crime is that you are giving believers in Christ, and believers in benevolent deities in general, a worse reputation than we already have - and that's a pretty impressive feat, let me tell you that.
There are people on this forum, myself among them, who may still have enough good will towards you to help you educate yourself towards a better life. Spiritual, not spiritual, either way there are people here who can help guide you to a more rewarding life. We won't pretend to be channeling Jesus, we won't make prophecies about the Olympic Games, we won't pretend to be "better" than you, but we might be able to give you tips on how to improve what is (apparently) a rather sad existence. Recommend books to broaden your view. Give you tips on critical thinking. Etc.
Before any of that can happen, however, you *must* let go of your incorrect beliefs that this woman you trust is doing anything but misleading you. WWIII will not start tomorrow. I'm willing to wait until that fact hits you in the face like a locomotive. If you'd like help putting the pieces together afterwards, feel free to PM me, and I'll try to help you.
