I would not be surprised if in a couple of days, instead feeling "devastated" because most of his own species was not killed in a nuclear war (what would mean he's got no free estate, 10 women, etc.), PC states that he's feeling fantastic, because his efforts throught the www saved the world from the loving god's wrath.
 
I had expected it, but he's not making any efforts to intercede on humanity's behalf, he concentrating his efforts on seeking out any crumb of bad news that might still offer a glimmer of hope that he was right in his prediction. He still wants most people to die in a war, just so he can say he told us so.

Never underestimate the power of denial.

Especially when combined with ignorance, arrogance, prejudice and selfishness. And this seems to be the case of PC. He'll find a way to keep thinking of himself as being above the rest of humans.

A third option is that the "nuclear war" was really symbolic. The Millerites got away with it--so I'm confident that, given enough astrology, numerology, apocalyptic poetry, and news clippings, PC can explain to us that we've all been through some cataclysmic but uplifting spiritual experience.

Wait wait wait. NOW I understand the prophecy.

The first ever Chicago Cubs (that's baseball, for all you furriners) night game was scheduled for 8/8/88. The game was rained out after three innnings. (That's one-third of a normal game, or "the middle" in Holy Spirit math.) Clearly the Spirit favors day baseball, but wait, there's more.

The Chicago Cubs have been in ten World Series, and won two. The winning team in the World Series is traditionally awarded rings. Ten divided by two is five, even in Holy Spirit math, and what else is there five of? That's right, Olympic rings.

The Cubs last played in the World Series in 1945. And what else happened in 1945? World War II ended, in large part because the US dropped two bombs on Japan. Japan is on the Pacific Rim. And Fat Man and Little Boy were nuclear weapons. And this happened in August of 1945! The middle of the year!

Clearly the prophecy is speaking directly to the fate of the Chicago Cubs, and their hopes for a championship in my lifetime. The Spirit said, "It will not happen." And looking at the standings this year, that prophecy is coming 100% true. Glory be to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end!

This is easy and fun. I'm going to start posting my theories and see how long a thread I can start.

Seriously,... someone here speaks ET Corn Gods language and can tell me?), there will be 15/8, then 22/8 and 29/8, and that's just August... then there's September and October... and on into 2013, 14, 15,...

PC just wants to see his vengeful sadistic God kill four billion people (in the name of Peace and Love, of course) and will keep at it until it transpires (or he expires), I think.

The Spirit prophesizing that the Cubs won't be winning the World Series hardly counts as something that everyone in the world doesn't already know, however...

It's exactly this that, somehow, keeps me coming back to this thread. Because I cannot understand why anybody would choose to develop a faith that focuses on that awful vision of mass death.

In fact, to get a level II diploma one had to sputter out glossolalia.
He also called it the language of heaven.

I like this new game. From every one of PC's news sources saying nuclear war has not broken out over the Spratley Islands, there are of course their reports saying the Olympic games are progressing as normal exactly like he said they wouldn't.

I had to look this up, so you all must read it too: In a "snatch," the athlete lifts a barbell from the platform to locked arms overhead in a smooth continuous movement. To "bomb out" means three misses, yielding a zero total score.

Why are the news happening at this time? Tomorrow is 08-08 when the world war that will originate from the Philippines will start. Although the 2012 Olympic Games in London is proceeding well, the spirit said that this Games will not really be held or completed (“Hindi nga matutuloy iyon. Hindi matutuloy.” – English translation: “That will really not be held. It will not be held.”). The Closing Ceremony of the Games is scheduled to be on 08-12.

As I have said, 08-08 is like the number of Jesus, 888. The missing eight may be the Holy Spirit.

The spirit said that the war will happen on a Wednesday and the last Wednesday before the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games is tomorrow since he said these three months ago (2012-05). The stop point is the 2012 Olympic Games.

If you were to believe in a god, be sure that He is the only true God. Search Him.
