Moderated Will the 2012 Olympic Games in London be held?

Always amusing how some believers will tell you volumes and volumes of info about angels, hell, and the like... from barely half a sentence of mention in their holy book.
Why was 6 scared? Because 7 8 9!
It's just as bad as all the crystal energy and crap spoken as fact about Atlantis gleaned from the little bit Plato wrote.

Do you think that it was Satan who tells this (the 2012 Olympic Games) to us “to make people believe he is god and worship him”? So you think that Satan is an evil spirit. There must be a good spirit then. What do you call the good spirit?

10000 Maniacs

Many things can be a good spirit.

None of them is intolerant.
None of them is a tyrant genocide.
None of them would kill all the firstborns of a nation.
None of them would order the slaughtering of those who do not follow his/hers/its religion.
None of them would punish a person for what he/she eats or his/hers sexual preferences.
None of them would burn cities in fire and brimstone.
None of them would drown almost every single living creature in this planet.
None of them would command their followers to wage holy wars.
None of them would make false prophecies of impending doom.
None of them would want humans living in their shadow, trembling in fear.
None of them would command, demand worshipping.
None of them would do any of these things and present him/her/itself as made of love.

Let me tell you that according to the Holy Spirit, Satan is a female archangel who was expelled from Heaven by her twin brother, Michael. There are only eight archangels and Satan or Lucifer (her name in Heaven was Luzbelle and Bekah) was the only female. And she was very beautiful.

Let me tell you that whoever or whatever is your Holy Spirit, above it all he/she/it is lying. Again.

Parthenogenesis generally produces female offspring. Are you asserting that Jesus was female? :D

Apparently Jesus wasn't even human:

Parthenogenesis occurs naturally in many plants, some invertebrate animal species (including nematodes, water fleas, some scorpions, aphids, some bees, some Phasmida, and parasitic wasps) and a few vertebrates (such as some fish,[2] amphibians, reptiles,[3][4] and very rarely birds[5]). This type of reproduction has been induced artificially in a few species including fish and amphibians.[6]

Opus 10, No 3 in E major

This may explain the creepy-crawly feeling religion induces in me.

I just can't take prophecies serious enough to invest more time in them than lurking this thread occasionally, but I care too much about beautiful equations like Euler's identity to let your mistake stand :p

If, as expected, your "holy spirit" turns out to be wholly fraudulent, why should anyone take one of his sermons as anything but pure garbage?

Do you think that the Holy Spirit is “wholly fraudulent” if His prophecies do not come true? And you think that His sermons are “pure garbage”?

I just share to you His prophecies about the coming war and the 2012 Olympic Games. I say that if His prophecies do not come true, I will still pick out what I believe is good and discard what is evil, including His sermons. I will be tight-lipped about prophecies because the future is really hard to predict.

The Devil says good things also. Otherwise, no one will listen to him. So I have to discern what I believe is true and ignore what I think is evil. I will not take everything as true, that is why I am a non-denominational Christian. I choose from different religions what I think are good. If I belonged to a particular religious group, ALL that it believes in will be to me as gospel, as truth.

Three blind mice

Yeah, right. Didn't you have the same "criteria" with this one? If this prophecy fails, you will need to have better criteria next time. Keep that in mind.

Yes, if His prophecies fail, I will use the same criteria in determining a god that I will worship – that he must be a spirit who I cannot see or touch, that He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, and that He must live for eternity including during the creation of this world. If he fails in any of these, then he is not the only true God. I say only because there is only one god who is true (John 17:3). Do you have any better criteria than these? I like to know.

Yes, I take those passages in the Holy Bible that you quoted seriously. You should include the other verse before those, such as verse 15, to wit (King James Version): “The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken.”
Car 54 Where Are You

Well, that declares there will be a real prophet, but doesn't get yours off the hook as a false prophet if the predictions don't come true. A real prophet's predictions would come true. Bible tells you so.

I have a feeling whoever channeled this story for you is telling you rather more about their own family life than they are about ructions in heaven.

Yes.

That's not what the bible instructs you to do.
(I also implore you that you absolutely should not do what the bible instructs in this matter.)
The Devil says good things also. Otherwise, no one will listen to him.
Him? I thought the devil was female in this story.

Did I miss a meeting?

Do you think that the Holy Spirit is “wholly fraudulent” if His prophecies do not come true?
I think the Holy Spirit is non-existant. I think anyone who claims to be speaking on behalf of the Holy Spirit is either fraudulent or deluded.

Existence is the most important one. Unfortunately that's the one every God seems to have a problem with.

0 - the number of prophecies that came true

What who said? How will you know that everything you heard wasn't purely the one who supposedly channeled "Him"?

I know that the Holy Spirit is different from the blind woman that He appropriates. For almost 30 years that I have been observing this phenomenon, I must have noticed if she is just changing her voice. For one, she is a woman. So a woman’s voice. The Holy Spirit is a man. So a man’s voice. The wisdom of the woman is different from the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Also, the mannerism are different. I have observed these with my own two eyes and also when I listen to the tape recording of our sessions. I also have tape recordings of the woman only in her own self.

Most of the time, it is the Holy Spirit who appropriates her body. There are times when other spirits do also, such as Gabriel, Michael, the Blessed Virgin Mary, a cherub by the name of St. Evangeline (a “ngongo” speaking with a nasal twang and named by the people), the woman in England named Angelina Imden, St. Cecilia.

A typo. A mere bagatelle.

Actually, you're absolutely right and thanks for the correction. It is, indeed, one of the most elegant equations in all of mathematics.

Your methodology in ascertaining that any of those is true is sorely lacking.

If he fails in any of these, then he is not the only true God. I say only because there is only one god who is true (John 17:3). Do you have any better criteria than these? I like to know.

Sounds like it's pretty crowded in there, How many spirits can inhabit a soul? is it the same number that can dance on the head of a pin?

This is not funny anymore. You know those empty faces you sometimes see in a crowd. Eyes staring into a void and there is nothing but madness behind them. This is one of those faces.

If I owe my existence to my father and mother, why is it that there are people who would like to have children and cannot have any?

This may be one of the finest examples of non sequitor I have ever read from someone speaking seriously. If I were not in a library, I would have laughed long and loud at this, probably disturbing the sleep of one or both cats. I've found myself unable to make up a similar example, so I will instead riff on the same theme. If I owe my existence to chemistry, why is it that baking soda and vinegar can be used to generate a significant reaction?

I listened to a couple of recordings from this woman, supposedly speaking as the holy spirit. She doesn't sound like a man to me, so I have no idea what you are listening to.

This is getting loonier and loonier. Are you aware how insane that sounds?

If your medium isn't a fraud, and I would be willing to bet she is, she is in need of some serious psychological help.
