Sarah Palin Quits Halfway Through...Again!

Since jury lists are confidential, Alaska can't verify her claim.

I wonder if she's going to go through the motions of entering the court house and staying there all day long for a few days? Or has the lamestream media totally lost interest in her and the fire in her belly?

A little ticker in the corner, "Palin still waiting for her number to be called."
 
By the way, isn't it totally obvious by now that she did, indeed, quit her "historical" bus tour?

I mean, how long is this jury duty?

I think she said it would be a couple of weeks, and then she might re-start the bus tour later in the summer.

At any rate, it's pretty clear the fire in her belly has been extinguished.

Or maybe she'll keep an eye on the polls and considering jumping in at the last minute to avoid that gotcha journalism and those pesky debates.

I think she was on the Casey Anthony trial. The Palin Family Band should be rolling to the World's Biggest Ball of Twine any day now.

Not me. I recently went looking information on a documentary about her and discovered the "Tea Party Prayer."

SNL had a rerun last night. It had a bit where Palin wanted to go through life being a "silver metal winner"

Could be, but it's still pretty early. I think she's tossing some straw into the air to see which way the wind blows. (Caution--more mixing of metaphors to come!) The longer no clear front-runner emerges, the more likely I think it is that she might throw her hat into the ring to put out the fire in her belly.

As an aside: did people hear that Track Palin's wife gave birth to their kid 3 months after they got married? That abstinence only stuff works wonders!

So.... she didn't actually quit anything. Not the real bus tour or the imagined presidential campaign? Dang, and you wasted all that earlier snark!

Palin is opportunistic, very slightly more intelligent than the average person, and seemingly only slightly more sophisiticated than the average American voter. She is not a candidate for any public office at this time, and I have faith that she spent all her shells in the '08 campaign. She will never again be a serious candidate for national public office.

And do you believe her bus tour is just coincidentally coinciding again with events and locations in the GOP primary race?
 
Palin was never gonna run. This tour has been about book sales, speaking fees, reality shows etc. Fox News never canceled her $1M/yr salary which it would have if she at any point became serious about running. Whole thing was a publicity stunt.

Irrelevent, as I've made no claims about Palin except that she had not announced a run for office.

I do note that what everyone seemed to allow to light their tampon fuse was that she "quit" her tour - something that it turns out was not accurate.

No, I believe her Bus Tour is carefully timed to extend her public profile. Again, irrelevent to the discussion.
