Thousands saw the first plane and fireball with their own eyes. The number that saw the second is easily a million people, all without the aid of a TV set.

Peer pressure plus those who do claim that they saw no plane, who will listen to them? Not the average Joe in general, that much is clear. Not even 911 truthers will generally want to listen to claims like that. One problem is that if a witness claims the he or she didn't see any plane, people will just say that they simply missed it.

Can you provide quotes from people who were in Manhattan on 9/11, saw the events unfold before their eyes and claim no planes were involved?

Do you even READ the posts I type ? "Peer pressure" is a ******** explanation. It doesn't even begin to explain the situation. At the most, SOME witnesses would recall seeing a plane, but you'd have quite a lot saying they just saw an explosion while they were watching WTC1 burn.

What you're doing is handwaving this situation away. People are not robots and "peer pressure" doesn't simply eliminate the problem of witnesses. You'll need a BETTER explanation, as I said in the very post you quoted.

So your cover up now includes the manufacturers of the aircraft, their employees who are documented as having built it, all the component suppliers and contractors, all the pilots who have logged that they flew on it, all the airports it landed at and all the service companies that worked on it?

What about the people who got aboard it that day? Where did they go?

Why do work colleagues and companies they worked for say they are missing?
Are all the companies, employees and families in on it as well?
How much pressure do you have to put on someone to cover up the murder of their loved ones?

No, he's actually claiming that everybody is conspiring to cover up the fact that the attacks were carried out by a small number of conspirators who weren't actually part of the government because civilisation would collapse if we didn't all have absolute faith in the combination of the government and the mass media who didn't carry out the attacks in the first place and were completely innocent but decided they had to cover up the attacks too in case we all lost our unquestioning faith in them and civilisation collapsed.
