i hope it cleared up some of your prejudices, did you completely read it?
do you now still claim thats what all muslims want? or do you now admit that this is not the case?
The silence from so-called moderates against such behavior in their religion is deafening.
That statement captures in a nutshell the equivocation you're committing and basing your whole argument in this thread on. You pick out something (something bad, of course) that's done in the name of Islam and extend it to the whole of Islam - hell, even to those who are trying to educate you on that the truth is a lot less black-and-white.All who are defending islam!

I'm not sure MAS is a good example. The fact that Pamela Geller is a member makes a lot of people doubt that they are actually Muslims. See, e.g., http://freethinker.co.uk/2007/09/24/non-muslims-against-sharia/have you ever looked for such voiced? for example, by tipping, Muslim against Sharia into your Google? i bet not.

I agree with your general point, though. There are many moderate Muslims in the world.
Neither do I. But it seems I was wrong about Geller being a member. So thanks for pointing that outDunno what to think about the interview the guy gave later.
Our membership is limited to Muslims only, but we would be happy to work with anyone who agrees with our goals. Pamela Geller is a contributor to our blog, not a member of our group.
That proves our theory that most moderate Muslims have to work for a living, but many radical Muslims are financed by oil revenues and spend all their time trolling the Internet.

Yet, when an IMAM like Rauf tries to build a center to that, you protest it.....

Perhaps when I meet a muslim that's not antisemitic and anti American. Let me know where I can meet such gentle muslim religion followers please.
What, no comment on the video ?

Well there is this guy, in New York, that is building an Islamic Center with the goal of promoting a gentle, moderate Islam and a message of peace and tolerance.....Perhaps when I meet a muslim that's not antisemitic and anti American. He seems to have missed quite a lot. Just look for the quotes other posters gave in this and other threads.Where is the outpouring of grief and outrage from the Muslim world? We've been waiting about nine years for it.
Wow, suddenly Fitna looks like a very moderate movie.
