Hamas Wants Civilian Casualties

How many years of these attacks has Israel had, to perfect a system whereby the second a rocket is launched, instant retribution would be delivered?

The Tit for Tat strategy can only work for so long, Israel has been willing to play along but Hamas is really not playing with the same thing in mind, which ideally is coexistence, but rather the end of the other.

But Hamas doesn't really have the means to achieve what it wants, so maybe Tit for Tat can still work?

It's more like tit for tat.

Can we keep the threads straight?

This thread has been discussing the deaths in the vicinity of the UN School.

This thread is discussing the fork lift drivers' deaths at the border crossing.

This thread is discussing the deaths at the 'safe house'.

It's a struggle, because even the media can't keep things straight. To add to the hilarity, multiple convoys of aid workers have come under fire and multiple UN schools have been hit. Sometimes I just can't make any sense of what is actually being talked about.

The information war rages on.

See the pics I posted above, in Gaza watching militants fight is a spectator sport.

Most of them look like they were taken on the hamas equiv of open days. Standard PR. you can find a fair number of pics from northern ireland of soldiers posing with kids.

Do you understand the distinction between civilians voluntarily placing themselves in the line of fire, as the speaker in your video appears to be claiming they have done, and combatants using civilians or other combatants as shields without their consent?

For example, placing a POW camp in a munitions factory to deter enemy bombing would be a war crime.

For women to voluntarily stand next to a political leader while he gives a speech to deter assassination attempts would not be a war crime.

And here:

Hamas and the Palestinians supporting them would not create human shields if they knew Israel was specifically targeting civilians. It is Israel's reluctance to kill civilians that make strategies like this work.

Riiiiight...

No chance at all of anyone else getting shot!

TFT, you don't seem to have the slightest clue as to how Hamas fights.

What a ridiculously spun post.

Like that's the only way Hamas fights. Even the IDFs main shots of hamas fighters are showing them launching rockets nowhere near any civilians.

Specify the specific incidents those photographs depict or your argument is BS.

We don't know, it's a 15 second video that explains nothing.

Mm-hmm. Israel's actions are all instantly identifiable and understandable to be ethnic cleansing and the like, while Hamas actions are inscrutable without any context.

If getting that one kid out of harm's way was the fighter's objective, then it is reprehensible that he left the other kid in harm's way. If the kid is being picked up to be used as a human shield, then the abandoning of the other kid is understandable. He's running past an area where he could be fired upon, and he only needs the one kid to get through there.

And the admission of Hamas to using human shields again and again is undeniable.

I thought we were discussing that video? Does the video go on after 15 seconds and the the other child is picked up as well?
