Ahmedinajad Quotes about Israel

Like many people who are ignorant of the Iranian political system ...

Ahmedinejad can never have a nuclear weapon. Even if Iran ever developed such a weapon Ahmedinejad would have no power to use it.

And Ahmedinejad will be out of office this year. So there isn't generally any importance on what he says except for propaganda purposes to fire people up against Iran.

And what do you mean by the "Jews Will handle It? Is their going to be a mass coming together of Jews across the world to attack Iran.

And you talk of Ahmedinejad having violent intentions towards Israel. It think the opposite is certainly true. if anyone attacks anyone it will be ISrael attacking Iran and not the other way around, so it's obvious who is the agressor here.

If Ahmedinajad would just shut his filthy hole...and stop increasing their number of centrifuges...there would be no talk of attacking Iran. This is a fact.

The USA and Israel has no major issue with Iran possessing enough operational centrifuges neccessary for a general civilian nuclear energy industry. They have already reached that number. They have stated time and time again..their goal is 60,000. It only takes about 3,000 to make low-level enriched uranium,

Again, shut Ahmedinajad's filthy mouth, stop increasing the number of centrifuges, and there will be NO attack.

If not, the Jewish State will pre-emptively defend itself.

Considering he is a Holocaust denier, is that an insult or a compliment towards the state of Israel?

Another believer of propaganda. Armedinejad doesn't deny the holocaust. In fact at his appearance at Columbia University when charged with his alleged Holocaust denial, he said

"I'm not saying that it didn't happen at all. This is not (the ?) judgment that I'm passing here. I said in my second question, granted this happened, what does it have to do with the Palestinian people?"

You can read whole speech ( and video ) here ...

Israel wants to attack Iran because it sees it as a threat. I would never argue against that premise.

But the nuclear thing is just an excuse. Even if Iran had a nuke it wouldn't be stupid enough to nuke anyone with it. Especially Israel, which has it's own nukes and the use of America's Nukes, Iran would be carbon within minutes if it launched such a weapon at Israel.

As well as weakening the Arab/persian countries in the locale of Israel the reason Israel/US wants to attack Iran is more about Oil and removing a regime they don't like for various reasons.

Yeah and I'm gonna stride down the sidewalk tomorrow punching everyone who looks at me funny to pre-emptively defend myself.

"pre-emptively defend itself" is just a phrase for sheer aggression.

Oh hears a good idea. Let's put everyone in prison because they might murder someone. pre-emptive justice.

Would Britain, France, and Poland, have been wrong if they pre-emptively attacked Germany before 1938?

They knew what was coming. They new the consequences of what was coming. They had every right to strike first.

There's a difference between agnosticism and denial. When Armedinejad refuses to accept that millions of Jews were killed in the Holocaust, it isn't because enough research hasn't been done, but because he is flat out denying well established facts.

7. "Some European countries insist on saying that Hitler killed millions of innocent Jews in furnaces.... Although we don't accept this claim, if we suppose it is true, our question for the Europeans is: Is the killing of innocent Jewish people by Hitler the reason for their support to the occupiers of Jerusalem? If the Europeans are honest they should give some of their provinces in Europe -- like in Germany, Austria or other countries -- to the Zionists and the Zionists can establish their state in Europe."

3. "Today, they [Europeans] have created a myth in the name of Holocaust and consider it to be above God, religion and the prophets … This is our proposal: give a part of your own land in Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska to them [Jews] so that the Jews can establish their country."

Case closed. He has indeed denied the Holocaust.

He's not denying that millions of Jews were killed in the Holocaust as far as i am aware. his concerns seem to be a] The holocaust wasn't the fault of the palestinians, and b] The hyping up of the holocuast for political reasons.

Using hindsight is not a very good argument is it?

You argument also fails miserably because you cannot compare Hitler to Ahmedinejad.

Hitler did have the power to implement is foul agenda. Ahmedinejad does not and will be out of office this year

I won't say 'nice try' as it was a terrible attempt

You should read your sources before linking to them.
I've read my sources thankyou

I couldn't find any of what you would call 'repeatedly' from Armedinejad. and neither does your article

This was one of the lines in the article you missed:

Furthermore, in various subsequent pronouncements Ahmadinejad has restated and clarified his position in ways that leave no doubt about what he has in mind [e.g., Ahmadinejad - Israel's destruction is the solution (AP)].

Of course there are many articles out there, not just that one. I found this, this, this, and this in a few short minutes of searching. I chose the blog specifically because it deals with the subject of the translation job by Juan Cole and helps to clarify the matter with it. Even considering the possibility that it was mistranslated though, Ahmadenijad has made his points clear multiple times, not just that once. It's a part of Iranian policy, whether it's he or the Grand Ayatollah that states it.

And as I've pointed above, the guy is insignificant. he's out of officet his year and didn't and would never have had the power over IRan's military and nukes.
I am fully aware that his position is number 2 in Iran's political hierarchy, and that he's much more a prime minister than he is the acting president. The Ayatollah doesn't appear to be doing anything about Ahmadenijad's statements however. That doesn't reflect well on anyone's comfort.

I am not sure I understand holocaust denial as a propaganda tool, it would only work on some seriusly undereducated masses. And destroy any and all credibility with others.

It does not speak well of his audience, the people of iran.

And it does not matter if he has any real power or not. Whoever is ruling iran (him or others) is responsible for his statements.

Selectively quoting to fabricated an argument is easy to spot. Don't hurt your head on the desk too much now ;)

The whole quote is there. The parts in yellow just immediately show how very wrong you are. So please, tell me how you would interpret this quote? Is there really much room for varying interpretation when Ahmedinejad says "we don't accept this claim" when referring to the extermination of innocent Jews by Hitler's Regime? Is this really that hard for you? A claim is an assertion as fact is it not? When he refers to the mass murder of the Jews as an assertion and says it is one he does not accept as fact what else could he possibly mean? Here's the whole quote, it's all highlighted, since I wouldn't want to selectively quote the man. Maybe you'll actually read it this time, unlike the time it was posted in the OP. I eagerly await your expert analysis to explain how Ahmedinejad isn't denying events of the Holocaust by saying the following:
