David Bernard was in NYC on September 11 was on his way to a meeting at WTC 7 when the second plane hit. Bernard and others were injured on Vessey Street and taken to NYC Downtown Hospital which was four city blocks from Ground Zero. He suffered head injuries and a spinal cord fracture and if he had lived would have been a paraplegic. Eventually he was stabilized and moved to a hospital in Boston. He died three months after 9/11.

In the documentary "Code Yellow: Hospital at Ground Zero" his wife said this about what caused his injuries:
"He thought it was a bomb and was hit by debris"

This explosion shortly after the crash of the second plane is the same explosion Jennings and Hess experienced in the stairwell inside of WTC 7.

These are injuries from a bomb explosion to you?

Eventually he was stabilized and moved to a hospital in Boston.

And what did the doctors say about the cause of his injuries?

Well this proves it. Brought down by CD. Nothing else going on that day would have seemed anything like a bomb. No possibility of hyperbole or anything.

Also, thanks for the links which don't say a word about bombs.

Wow...another stunning and informative post by MaGZ that neither proves nor supports his fantasy. It's like they don't even care how bad they look anymore. It's just throwing crap into the wind and see what idiot it sticks to.

"He thought it was a bomb and was hit by debris"

It must be a conspiracy because everything sounds like bombs...

Guatemalan Sink Hole - Three people were missing Friday after a 61 meter hole opened up in the middle of a Guatemalan neighborhood, likely due to a burst sewer pipe. "It sounded like a bomb was dropping. Boom!" said Carlos Gutierrez, 58, of the crater, which measured 40 meters in diameter.

Mystery Ice - Large chunks of ice, one of them reportedly about 50 pounds, fell from the sky in this northeast Iowa city, smashing through a woman's roof and tearing through nearby trees.
"It sounded like a bomb!" 78-year-old Jan Kenkel said. She said she was standing in her kitchen when an ice chunk crashed through her roof at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday. "I jumped about a foot!"

Bus Crash - The accident occurred around 10:45 a.m. after an unoccupied bus apparently rolled down an hill and crashed into a building in the 3300 block of Whitehaven Street in Northwest, D.C. Fire and EMS say. Building employees say it sounded like a bomb went off when the bus crashed through, and the building swayed for about 10 seconds.

Tornado -
“The storm hit and it was awful,” said the 73-year-old lifelong Montanan. “It sounded like a bomb when it hit. We are just so fortunate no one got hurt. I've never seen anything like this - one half of my house is gone.”

LightningFriday’s thunderstorms may have left much of the region knee-deep in water, but one resident thought a bomb had been dropped after his house was hit by lightning. "I was walking to the bathroom to splash water on my face when I heard what I thought sounded like a bomb…”

Exploding Cell Phone - Michael Sathre, 13, holds the remains of the cell phone that exploded as he picked it up off the floor last August. His father says it sounded like a bomb going off.

Broken Pyrex - If you drop a Pyrex anything on the floor, stand back. These things explode. Literally. An old boyfriend once dropped the green bowl from my Pyrex nesting set and brought our entire party to stunned halt. It sounded like a bomb and threw shards 20' away, no kidding.

Overcooked Eggs - Right as my timer expired there was a HUGE BANG from inside the microwave. My eggs had exploded. We’re not talking “cracked” or something. They literally exploded. It sounded like a bomb had gone off inside the microwave. When I opened the door, I wasn’t sure that one hadn’t.

Deer Struck by Chevy Astrovan - My wife killed the biggest in the family year before last with a 4.3L. Chevy Astrovan. It was only 2 years old and it TOTALED the van. It tried to jump the road and landed half way on the roof and half way in the windshield. It sounded like a bomb went off inside the van. Thank God nobody was hurt.

Car Crashing Into Day Care Center - None of the center’s staff actually observed the crash, although Howell said everyone heard it.“It sounded like a bomb going off in here,” Howell said. “It was nap time, and there was an awful crash and we took off running,” said daycare supervisor Pam Qualls. “We just concentrated on getting the kids out, calling 9-1-1, and then started calling the parents.”

"He thought it was a bomb and was hit by debris"

From which we can deduce what?

(1) He thought it was a bomb. We can't now find out why he thought that, so all we have is a second-hand report of a subjective impression, but he presumably heard a loud bang as the plane hit the skyscraper and wouldn't have had time to assess the situation rationally before being hit on the head. Loud bang plus impact on head being the only data available, his first impression that it was a bomb seems reasonable, as terrorist bombs in cities are very much more common than airliner impacts on skyscrapers. However, we have access to a lot on information he didn't.
(2) He was hit by debris. A plane hit a skyscraper about a thousand feet above him, causing debris to fall in the area he was occupying.

The information referenced in your post is therefore completely compatible with the generally accepted sequence of events on 9-11.

Obviously drug dealing neocons could have planted explosives in the van and hired a CIA spook to dress up in a deer outfit. Come on so-called skeptics, this is evidence of NOTHING!!

Exactly, the only way it could lend support to his theory would be for his injuries to be compatible with bomb explosion injuries, which they are not.

Heck , even the first link provided in the OP says he was killed by falling debris, not flying debris.

I bet Alt+F4 has been gagging for the chance to post that list. :D

Actually I have posted it before. What I find most interesting about it is that even when people know what they are seeing they still say it sounded like a bomb.

No, don't think so MaGZ, but can you give me a time for when for when Jennings' supposed bomb went off anyway.

Bernard's [David Bernard's son, Mark] inspiration has changed him from someone who didn't start running until last September, struggling to complete six miles. He has now trained long and hard enough to let the world know that he will be No. 13,890 come Marathon Monday.

The reality is that the only reason he started the sport was to help soothe the anxiety that stemmed from watching his father, David, cling to his life in three different New York City hospitals. It's a process that started on Sept. 12, one day after Mark's friend and father was hit by debris from American Airlines Flight 11 as it crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center.http://glcfoundation.net/press_center/4_11_02.htm

Nowhere do these articles state that Bernard was in front of WTC7 when he was injured. Only that he was on the way there.

Also if he was on Vesey, he could not have seen the plane approach.
