If "Dejan" and "Troll" are inside jokes could you let us outsiders know what it means? I have tried to be polite.

Well, the mysteries of the human brain have yet to be unraveled. For example, why do you sleep? No body seems to know that. Where is the mind in the brain? Again, no body knows. So, brain waves exist. That's a fact. Do brain waves flow through the air and go into some one else's brain? Why not? Couldn't that explain the fact that a person can know what another person is thinking even across the room (sometimes across the whole country). Couldn't there brainwaves go over to the other person. Do we really know whether those waves can pass through the skull and go into the brain? I think a lot more research need to be done.
Also, I did not see any pole in the Shaman's levitation. He was first seen walking around and around. I *AM* suspicious because I did not see the whole thing in real continuous time, because someone "off camera" must have lighted the circle (question with what?) of flame. So color me a little "suspicious" right from the getgo. But, as I said before, he is *NOT* having any distortion or compression from the "wires" that nobody sees but is sure they are there.
Africa is probably the last place where real Shaman's are. Every other place has gone the way of Wal*Marts. The African shaman's are known for being able to use the plants in the forest to find things out and do things. We did not see what plants were prepared here, but I would bet it is *very* important, and we westerners have *lost* the ability to see, even with the highest power microscopes, what plants in the forest can really do.
Something that is flammable will burn. Something that is inflammable will not merely burn, it will enflame, i.e., it will burn very rapidly. Thus, wood is flammable, ether is inflammable. If irregardless means the opposite of what I meant to say (assuming you know what I meant) then does "inflammable" mean the opposite of "flammable"?
I read the article on "trolls" and although I think it is OK to raise things for debate, the definition includes a troll "mocking" and insulting the rest of the forum. I don't think that is proper and I have not done so.
There was a reference to "boobs" on the forum earlier, which I thought was off color, but I did not comment.
Sorry if I offended anyone with my posts.

This is a good example of your convoluted logic, and this is maybe why people are irritated when you post. You don't know the difference between your fancy and established fact.
A fact is something that can be validated through external evaluation. it has evidence to support it. Positive, repeatable evidence.
Opinions, hypotheses, and anecdotes are not facts.
Some mysteries HAVE been. Many, many, more are still awaiting discovery. This is one reason why I have decided to devote my career to studying the brain and the nervous system. But just because the brain continues to be an enigma does not give one free license to invent any hypothesis they wish and present it as fact. It still needs evidence to support it.
I am not sure what the intended point of this is. We are not wholly ignorant to why sleep is needed. I suggest you look that up. Certain processes, including some aspects of metabolism and memory formation, make sleep necessary. At any rate, this point is hardly relevant to the discussion at hand.
Once again a misrepresentation. While consciousness and intellect is very far from being completely understood, it's isn't as simple where it is in the brain, and "nobody knows". We know of regions and even specific structures in the brain that contribute to consciousness and intellect.
And where the heck did brain waves enter this? I'd really like to hear your explanation of how us not knowing where the mind is in the brain means that brain waves exist. And what exactly is a "brain wave"? What is it a wave OF?
Just because you do not understand something, does not mean that mystical forces need be invoked.
He thinks perhaps the shaman is sending out brain waves to make us think he is levitating. He posted that a few posts above.
Evolution (which I believe in, although it does not have all the answers, ref: the eyeball) has provided the dog with this ability, probably when we lived in caves and someone could steal our dogs, which we needed.

Also, can you explain ESP, except in relation to brain waves? I would prefer an explanation that has natural forces in it.
But I am willing to be educated.
Brain waves are the things that are measured by the EEG machine. They are electromagnetic waves that go through the air. Wouldn't they get into some one else's brain?
