We have a search feature here, and if you were really interested in finding answers to your questions you could have utilized it before ever making a post.

So if I went to a big city library looking for a particular book, you'd recommend me to browse the aisles, rather than go to the desk and ask a librarian? Makes sense! Need I go on?

Well if you had been to a library sometime in the last 10 years you would know that most libraries have computers from which you can search for books, and not have to bother the libriarian.

Also, fellow posters are not "librarians".

I wouldn't recommend going up to a librarian and saying "you librarians think you know everything about books but that's because you're close-minded. Now, what aisle is 'The Joy of Crack' on?"

And why would you be averse to just making the information readily available, as opposed to sending me on a JREF wild goosechase? As I've mentioned, you don't seem to have been shy with your links in the past. And you lot do seem to have far more time on your hands than I have!
