Border Security and Illegal Immigration

But wait, I thought Canada was conspiring to take over the US?

Just a mo. There's another CT that says that the US is still part of the UK. And Canada is part of the Commonwealth.....which we lead. So why would "we" want to take over "our" own country??!?

Doh!

But the knife and fork thing is even worse.

let it go...let it go...at least they don't eat solely with their hands...lol

That's only because their elbows are so often glued to the table......

DISCLAIMER: I am aware that some Americans can, and do, use cutlery properly and know that it is impolite to cut up all your food at one like a 5 year old. I am also aware that many Americans do, in fact, have a grasp of basic grammar and that their cack-handed attempts to spell words are based on a combination of dialectal differences and a conscious attempt to modernise archaic spellings. If you wish to pursue this any further then please do not hesitate to contact me at gwbush@whitehouse.gov.

Yes it is a conspiracy theory. Alex Jones spends a hell lot of time talking about it.
The border itself is no conspiracy theory. I think we agree that it's open
The CT is on WHY it's open, get it? Hence the OP.. it claims it is in order to establish the NAU...

I'm pretty sure it's a conspiracy theory. Unless you think it's a fact. That would be creepy.

Why? Maybe because our border with Mexico is about 2,000 miles long? How do you "close" something like that? And like another poster said, it's not going to do anything to prevent terrorists from coming into the country. They can do it legally.

You've been reading too much of Pat Buchanan's book, State of Emergency. Blech.

ETA: And you Kanuks watch out or "W" will invade you next. Knife and fork, indeed....

Why would one need a knife and fork to eat BBQ and deep fried... Well everything else?:covereyes

In my personal experience there appears to be a widespread tendancy amongst many Americans, particularly younger ones, to cut up all of their food and then eat it with just the fork. Like small children do. In Europe as a whole, and places such as the Antipodes, this is considered very poor manners indeed.

Here's an idea, come to live in Mexico and see how many of the people live. There are places near me that have no running water or electricity and the people scrape by however they can. Trying to close the huge border (as someone already pointed out) would not only be nearly impossible, it also would do little to stem the tide. These people are so poor that they will do almost anything to get to the US and improve their and their families' lives.

Now that you mention it I do see that fairly often here. Wierd.

Deep fried I think is a modern world phenomenon.

Here in Canada, I have seen deep fried:

1. Potatoes
2. Peperoni
3. Bologna
4. Cod Fish
5. Mozerella Cheese
6. Squid
7. Shrimp
8. Chicken
9. Batter (That is right, people order plates full of bits of deep fried batter).

I am sure there are others.

poutine was a french phenomenon that is now pretty wide spread across Canada...French Fries...Cheeze....Gravy....mmmmmmmm

There is a running joke about Deep Fried Mars Bars here in Scotland, but it is widely considered to be an urban myth. Unlike favourite post-pub snacks such as Chips & Cheese, Chips & Curry Sauce, or Chips & Curry Sauce & Cheese.

Note for Americans: In the UK, Ireland, and Australia chips are what you would call fries. And what you call chips are crisps.

My wife knows quite a few UKers. It amazes me how much you fellows love Curry, and put it on EVERYTHING...lol

True. Be we still lead in the Peanutbutter and Banna sandwich deep fried in a stick of butter.

By "deep fried everything else" are you referring to American cuisine or Scottish? :boxedin:

:D I haven't been to Scotland yet but I heard they deep fry a lot too.

He also says that the NWO want to wipe out 80% of the population, which would seem to be hindered greatly by their plan to flood the country with immigrants.

Whatever happened to "Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free".
