No. First, I would challenge you to prove it. Then, I would want to know what that had to do with anything you've posted here. A nuclear physicist would not necessarily know more about welding and slag than a welder would.

You provided clear evidence of a torch cut on a steel column. Care to explain the notching effect of the cut and how this relates to thermite?

Do you have any idea why the column in your picture is an orangish color?

Also, iron oxide is in thermite, but only before the thermite reaction takes place. After the reaction, there's elemental iron and aluminum oxide, which I think is white.
 
Hasn't 28k accused us of being communists and socialists? I think this indicates that he's in the US, so he would not be PD.

It's disturbing to think there can be two people in the world who are so vociferously, stubbornly, willfully ignorant, but that seems to be the case.

I'm afraid that's not too unique to the USA, actually. Particularly when looking for a suitable random insult to throw at a mainly American audience.
 
Do you all understand that when you use a torch on metal...it's gonna leave a black smoke residue (soot) on the metal? So if you got a little slag build up around the edges you're cutting...and then it has this black smoke residue on top of it...you think that means the slag is black?

Do you see any black smoke residue on this steel column:

NO, all you see is a big black gook of IRON that has melted on top of it. Couldn't be any more obvious...

Nobody here would bet their house that the black molten metal in this pic is actually slag from where a torch cut it...I'm just speechless that you people are claiming that.

Can you be anymore ridiculous. A properly set torch produces no smoke.

Can you explain the obvious notching on the torch cut steel column?
