Hey,
I NEVER said thermite is an explosive! Why do you say that? I haven't even opined about the full nature of the PET, because I honestly don't know exactly how it was pulled off. Try this on for size, though. Therma/ite was used to cut the core columns...so that they would remove themselves in a downwardly fashion...and then they used some type of explosives on the outer grid and floors etc. Doesn't really seem all that complex to me. (Remember, we have learned that the CORE COLUMNS...were a unique feature to the twin towers...so I guess that's why they had to do a hybrid type of demolition i.e. incendiary plus explosives. Because if they would have just used explosives, than the core columns would have remained standing. See, this is also why the WTC 7 collapse looks different than the WTC 1 & 2 collapses...because the WTC 7 did NOT have any core columns

Okay, you never explicitly said thermite was an explosive. But you did imply that the presence of thermite would prove your "planted
explosives theory". As there are a great number of CTists who
have claimed that thermite is "an explosive used in controlled demolitions", one naturally assumed you were going the same way, as nothing else you've come up with has been at all different from the standard CT playbook.
The lesson here is: If you're going to use words, use them correctly, otherwise don't blame us for misunderstanding you.
As for the standard playbook, well: "Doesn't really seem all that complex to me".
One thing that has become abundantly clear, is that very few, if any, CTists have any experience doing actual physical tasks. They always simply dismiss any job that would need to be done to pull off their version of 9/11 as "not very hard", "not too complicated" or "easy".
Think about it for a minute. For your thermite/explosives hypothesis, you would need to:
1. Create some means of cutting horizontally or on an angle with thermite. This has never been done before.
2. Position all the needed thermite dveices (TD) on the correct columns, while the building is being used, without detection. This has never been done before.
3. Plant explosives on the other columns, again without being detected. This has never been done before.
4. Wire all of these TDs and explosives to produce a top-down CD, again without being detected. This has never been done before.
5. Have some sort of system for choosing on which floor the TDs and explosives are first detonated, so as to make them collapse at the levels the planes hit. This has never been done before.
6. Have all of this either sufficiently protected from both impact and fire that none of it goes off prematurely, and ruins everything, or have sufficient redundancy so that any charges that are destroyed can be covered by back ups. This has never been done before.
7. Set it all off so that there is no audio evidence of explosions at the time of collapse. This has never been done before.
8. Set it all off so that the only evidence of the TDs is that one little dribble. This has never been done before.
9. Do all of this on buildings about three times bigger than anything ever demolished by CD before. Do I really need to say, "This has never been done before"?
10. Do it all perfectly the first time.
11. Do it all perfectly the second time.
12. Come up with a whole new way to do all the explosive bits of points 1-9 perfectly the third time.
Did I miss anything?
And all of this "Doesn't really seem all that complex to" you? If you're really that good, I could use some help building a deck next spring.
