How to increase your IQ level ?

To be sure, while Einstein's brain was smaller than average, it did have structural characteristics that may suggest greater reasoning ability. But those are a feature of the brain itself, not the cranium he carried it around in. Whatever, all that was already folded into his estimated I.Q. of 160 on the normal scale.

A person who attends college and obtains a degree may expect his I.Q. to increase by around 5 points. This does not involve altering his brain case. It simply puts more knowledge and reasoning ability in the contents.

Well, we might come back to that if you would actually stick around and pay attention for long enough to have a discussion. You claim you've discovered a method of raising your I.Q. at will to scores that cannot numerically exist alongside the scores measured by the normal way. You don't explain what the method entails beyond simply sitting there and making yourself smarter. You don't actually measure your I.Q. during these sessions, you just pick a number out of the air that matches how smart you feel. That's about as scientifically valid as shouting "Expelliarmus!" at the bank teller and expecting them to give you the money.

Albert Einstein's I.Q. was estimated at 160 on the N(100,15) scale. Since he never took a standardized test, we'll never be able to measure it. You call this his "base I.Q." You don't define the difference between a "base I.Q." and any other kind of I.Q. Be all that as it may, you claim his I.Q. was actually closer to 300. Again, that isn't numerically possible in the scale we use. You've said you don't really understand math. That much is clear. And it's abundantly clear from your writings that while you know the names of some elements of statistics, you really don't understand statistical distributions numerically. So I really can't expect you to grasp why 300 doesn't work as a score. It's just knowledge you don't posses and can't seem to learn.

However, you claim in Einstein's case that his altered I.Q. was the result of innate physiological differences in his cranium. So we have a problem in that your particular brand of I.Q. seems to be innate and immutable in one instance (i.e., tied to immutable anatomy), but mutable in other instances such as your ability to just sit there and raise your I.Q. It doesn't seem as if you've really discovered any set of rules by which your particular brand of I.Q. operates.

Sure he has. The rule is that there is no rule. Your IQ can be whatever you want, just think of a number and there it is!

A high actual height can be useful too. My base height is 183cm, but I can raise it to 250 or even 300cm if I need something off a high shelf. There are no real limits, but if I need to increase it by more than about 1.5 times the base level it's wise to take precautions, like getting someone else to hold the ladder.

My base height is 1.74, but I can increase it to 5.7 or 68.5 or 174 by changing the units.

In a more serious vein (artery?), I don't follow the comings and goings of @wise47's IQ closely enough to know whether his IQ is 1600 this week, but the idea that someone might have an IQ of 1600 is not all that far-fetched, so long we're allowed to change the scale to use a mean of 1000 instead of 100 and a standard deviation of 200 instead of 15.

And regardless of the standard deviation, so long as scores are normally distributed with a mean of 100, there are going to be about as many people with an IQ of 1600 as with an IQ of -1400.

And we run into people with an IQ of -1400 all the time. Not so often in real life, to be sure, but we often see them on the nightly news and in the US Senate's confirmation hearings.

We did an exercise once for our high school interns, years ago. The educational goal was requirements gathering and analysis. But the question to be solved was whether you could pee hard enough to propel yourself to escape velocity from an asteroid (assuming you could magically survive the vacuum). After the inevitable sniggering I was surprised at how passionately they attacked the problem. Nerds are gonna nerd. Nowadays, of course, you can't teach that way.

Looks like the stuff can make you hyper focused and alert, improving your level and duration of cognitive work you can perform.

I'm sure no one would abuse this....
 
I don’t know how to increase my IQ, but I suspect it goes down a little every time I see the phrase “IQ level” followed by an improperly used question mark.
