If you like, bring him to the meeting and I'll argue whichever side he's not on. (I've heard the friggin' debate so many times I can argue either side pretty well, even though I've never personally cared one way or the other.)

I guess the next question to consider is should we warn them that we're coming? My experience with herding cats would put the target number between 15 and 20 given these statistics:

These individuals will most likely be there given the frequency and/or content of their posts in this thread:

These individuals are considering coming and every effort should be made to move their names to the preceding list, especially if applicable:

These individuals have made it pretty clear that they approve of the idea but are fairly certain that they will not be in attendance (this list serves little purpose other than to acknowledge their existence):

*Doubt

ETA: It bears mentioning that in addition to being a skeptic, I actively deny any existence of mind reading/telekinesis. So if you're not happy with these lists, it would behoove you to not remain silent on the matter. That is to say, post something about it.

I'll try. I work until 10pm that night. I'll ask around at work if someone could come in early to relieve me. It's hard to get coverage when 4 people are doing a 24/7 operation. Plus, someone is on Vacation that particular week. **crosses fingers**

I am most likely out. I will be spending some more time in Kentucky the week of the 20th. Not much chance of getting free by the weekend.

There's nothing wrong with having your cake and eating it too.

Especially if it's raspberry and chocolate.
 
Gotta doublecheck my schedule, but calendar permitting, I'll be there. Okay to bring my wife? She's neither woo, nor skeptic, but would put up with our chatter without complaint.

Sounds like too much trouble, Treble. My guess would be that 15 is an optimistic number unless people are bringing guests. I would tend to think that we could just show up unannounced, wait a bit for a table, and order a pie or two for the group.

Although I am kinda interested in the $10 open bar for 2 hours. I could put away $10 in beer in an hour. The second hour would be like a bonus.
