I once heard of the Anthropocene. The Industrial Revolution is 1/32,000,000th of Earth's history (seven orders of magnitude). Orders of magnitude could be a tough concept to teach 3rd graders. It is much easier to frighten them with computer generated maps showing half of Florida under water.

I assume you were not a fan of Crichton's CalTech lecture on scientific consensus or his Aliens cause Global Warming. If you think about a newspaper columnist attempting to bully and intimidate Michael Crichton, you have to laugh. Or at least smile. A little.

Don't you find it interesting that with science and politics in the 21st Century, that the Holocaust is the common thread?

How many of them were tourists who overstayed their visa? How many had the wrong visa? How many tourists worked a job? How many simply crossed over from Canada with no visa? How many of them committed crimes while in the USA?

Apparently these are all the reasons why the Southern border gets all the political publicity, and the televised raids, and hopping-mad anger from certain quarters. And guns and shooting.

So why not these European ones too?

So? The events which divide previous ages from each other were also of relatively short duration compared to the ages themselves. For example:

I don't know, because (AFIAK) ICE does not collect data on ethnicity.

Happily, I don't need to know, because you are the one claiming (without any evidence so far) that they ignore their own guidance on racial profiling in order to identify white people and give them a free pass based on skin color.

No, you said they are "exempt" which is substantively the same thing.

Certainly the uncontrolled rage and public screaming is a candidate for resembling Reich-level behavior, if not a contender for "most". Take it as supporting/corroborating evidence for whatever aspect is most egregious, part of the same pattern.
 
Sadly, we have alot of people in this forum who do not know as much about as the United States or it;s politics as they think they do.
