In Denmark, the experts were very specific back in March: Since there was a shortage, they appealed to people to not start hoarding face masks as long as care workers needed them more than the general population. Besides, they weren't sure about the efficacy. When that became more and more clear, they started to recommend face masks in certain situations, and at this point they are mandatory on public transport.
A similar development could be observed in most other countries.

In March, Fauci told 60 Minutes that masks should largely be reserved for healthcare providers. In April, the recommendations were broadened to include simple masks for the general public.

LOL I don't trust any of them. They seem to say what's convenient at the time. And by the way Covid 19 is a new disease, there were no experts a few months ago.

I will wear a mask by choice. It has nothing to do with anyone else's choice to wear one or not.

That's how science works, when you get more evidence you modify the theory.
When masks were found to be of use the advice changed.

I just heard something I never knew about the Kennedy Nixon debates. The third debate took place with Kennedy in New York and Nixon in Los Angeles.

There is no reason in hell that Trump and Biden have to be in the same room.

Someone kindly investigated this claim the last time he made it. It turned out that the Democrat in question had expressed the opinion that parents whose child was born with an immediately fatal condition (e.g. without a brain) should be allowed to hold their baby until it died, instead of having it taken away and put in an incubator to keep it alive for as long as possible until it died without them ever touching it.

This crap does not go over well with Jen Gunter, who was in that exact situation. One of her babies was born terminal, and they did comfort care instead of fruitless attempts at recessitation. When Trump tweets this crap, she takes it very personally
