He loves the troops; no one in U.S. history has done more for to them, believe him.

FIFY...

I am so ashamed to be an American at this point in time. It is horrible enough that Trump tries to punish this loyal patriot, but worse still that Trump has been enabled to do so by the people around him. Enough apparently to convince Vindman that Tump was successful in destroying his career and that he needed to retire early.

We have a totally corrupt previous Administration, including a President and Vice President who spied on my campaign, AND GOT CAIGHT...and nothing happens to them. This crime was taking place even before my election, everyone knows it, and yet all are frozen stiff with fear....

....No Republican Senate Judiciary response, NO “JUSTICE”, NO FBI, NO NOTHING. Major horror show REPORTS on Comey & McCabe, guilty as hell, nothing happens. Catch Obama & Biden cold, nothing. A 3 year, $45,000,000 Mueller HOAX, failed - investigated everything....

....Won all against the Federal Government and the Democrats send everything to politically corrupt New York, which is falling apart with everyone leaving, to give it a second, third and fourth try. Now the Supreme Court gives a delay ruling that they would never have given...

....for another President. This is about PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT. We catch the other side SPYING on my campaign, the biggest political crime and scandal in U.S. history, and NOTHING HAPPENS. But despite this, I have done more than any President in history in first 3 1/2 years!
I think it's fair to say he's quite upset.
Cornered rat.

The wording will be something like: "But I bought them! They should be MINE! Why aren't they MINE!?"

Perhaps. But I think it may be more “I’m the one who hired them. That makes me their boss. The need to show more respect for the boss.”

What's maddening is both Supreme Court rulings, while denying outright the concept of "absolute immunity", kicked the cases back down the chain for the lower courts to hear other arguments besides that one. It sure seems if there were other arguments, they should have made them before now.

But it's undoubtedly at least a short term "win" for Trump, whose goal is always delay, delay, delay. This retrying of the cases in the lower courts will almost certainly push any resolution past election day, maybe well beyond.

Sigh.

It's a setup to give Trump cover until the election and then open up Biden to any an all subpoenas, justified or not.

If it was a close 5-4 split along ideological lines, I might believe it. But, I believe it was a 7-2 majority, and the liberal judges seem to be ok with the whole "Trump's records are fair game, but lower courts must decide".)

(Note that I do agree with the previous poster on... I think its a little weird that they didn't do a complete ruling, without sending it back down, since you would expect both sides to have put on their 'best arguments'.)

Suddenly, a quarter of the US adults think it's a Gawd given right to kill yourself (slowly and painfully no less).
Odd how that sea change came about. [emoji20]

No, not to kill themselves, but not to give a damn about killing or infecting others.

Some 60,000 good people live in Greenland. How could we do that to them? What did they do to us? There are some uninhabited atolls in the South Pacific that would be much more suitable for Trumpania.

Now you've got 30 people thinking "what would it take to get this jackass to go away".
And THAT'S how this grifter has lived his entire life. [emoji20]

For those salivating over rethugs from The Lincoln Project, remember. Enemy of my enemy is enemy of my enemy. Nothing less, nothing more. I wouldn't trust them as far I can spray with AK-47.
I take your point but... conservative Republicans, of honesty and character, are not the enemy. They're the opposition.
I don't fear there are too many of them... I fear there are too few. In an honest clash of ideas, I think we win. Eventually.

I (or someone) need to get a thread going on a recent Patriot Act vid "We're doing elections wrong" re: how we've let the two party system drive partisanship into extremism.
And ranked voting. I don't quite have the gist of that yet.

And Oh... My... God... is he crying about it on Twitter.

8 salty tweets so far.

White House employees must be thinking, this will be one of those days again.
Somebody needs to get this man some cheese.
(fattyiest and saltiest would be my choice... but, I can be a bastard. [emoji1] )

I'll donate just to pay him to resign next week. Surely the entire world could raise enough money to convince him.
Still working my way through the backlog (tapa sucks for posting and this thread moves fast) but I think I addressed this concept a post or three ago. [emoji1]
