They ruled against him in the case involving SDNY getting access to his tax returns and financial records.

They ruled in his favor denying Congress access to his tax returns.

That's how I read it anyway.

NY prosecutors can seek Trump tax returns.
Congress will not have access to the financial records for now.
Trump does not have Executive immunity in this case.

Just saying it another way for further clarification.

@realDonaldTrump, you want to talk about corruption? I’ve released 21 years of my tax returns — release yours or shut up.

And Oh... My... God... is he crying about it on Twitter.

8 salty tweets so far.

White House employees must be thinking, this will be one of those days again.
I can imagine him whining about the failing supreme court :D .

Why do I get the feeling that the president’s response will be, “See. He has nothing and all he can do is attack me”?

“Terrible ratings. No one watches them anymore.”

Oh, and salty Trump is best Trump. I love how it's always so obvious when things have gotten to him, just based on the number of angry tweets.

He lost the one involving the NY DA. He won the congressional supena one, 7-2 ROBERTS, C. J., delivered the opinion of the Court, in which GINSBURG, BREYER, SOTOMAYOR, KAGAN, GORSUCH, and KAVANAUGH, JJ., joined THOMAS, J., and ALITO, J., filed dissenting opinions.

In short, no, the President is not immune to criminal investigations

The NY one, in favor of NY (6-3) - ROBERTS, C. J., delivered the opinion of the Court, in which GINSBURG, BREYER, SOTOMAYOR, and KAGAN, JJ., joined. KAVANAUGH, J., filed an opinion concurring in the judgment, in which GORSUCH, J., joined. THOMAS, J., and ALITO, J., filed dissenting opinions

In short, Congress is attempting to enforce laws, which is not their role.

That isn't the case the SC decided to make no decision and pushed it back to the lower courts and told them to do their job better! It could come back to the SC if the lower court follows their brief and still finds in favour of enforcing the subpoenas. It is still in limbo.

Here's a good idea. If we all chip in and buy Greenland, then give it to Trump and make him Emperor of Greenland, maybe he'll go away and leave us alone.

I'll donate just to pay him to resign next week. Surely the entire world could raise enough money to convince him.

For the 1/100th time, the reason we show so many Cases, compared to other countries that haven’t done nearly as well as we have, is that our TESTING is much bigger and better. We have tested 40,000,000 people. If we did 20,000,000 instead, Cases would be half, etc. NOT REPORTED!

PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT!

I just can't ...

I found myself needing to look at Twitter to be sure it's real. Here's the link so you don't have to.

No wonder he didn't take his own SAT.

The Dems control the state houses in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Michigan so no worries on voter suppression there. Trump lost a lot of support of older Americans in Florida. The difficulty in voter suppression in Florida is a long history of early voting and mail in ballots. Mail in ballots are very popular in Florida. The people they are most popular with are the voters Trump needs.

With the current few toss up states, all Biden needs to do is win one of them or the two toss up electoral votes in Nebraska and Maine (the two states who split their votes into districts). One is Nebraska is Red and one a toss up. The other vote in Maine has not data but is traditionally swing.

Heres how I divided things up:

Democratic governors (and mayor of DC) where I think Biden will win: CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IL, MA, MI, MN, NV, NM, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, VA, WA, WI, DC. Thats 251 electoral votes that should be in Biden's favor that cannot be electionereed by the GOP.
1 more state, NC is basically a toss-up with a dem governor, thats 15 votes.
MA, NH, MD, and VT are all states with republican governors, but I don't believe any of them are Trump supporters. Thats 28 votes. Which gives Biden 279 without NC, or 294 with it. This means that given no surprises Biden doesn't need to depend on FL or AZ. Which is a good thing, since I suspect those governors may play games, like refuse to certify their electoral college votes.

Don't know how I missed this one and I didn't see it posted here (apologies if it was)

A Lincoln Project ad done entirely in Russian with subtitles.
