Cryin Chuck Schumer, compared to what other Senators have brought home to their states, has brought very little back to N.Y. A totally overrated loser, the one thing he has given them is SALT. He never even called me to stop it. No wonder Cuomo & most others can’t stand him. AOC!

The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire. These are very good people, but they are angry. They want their lives back again, safely! See them, talk to them, make a deal.

Mmm. Okay! But only if they're willing to do the same for more liberal protestors, too.

Right-wing protestors seem to get easy media coverage, even when in small numbers.

Left-wing protestors? Well, if left-wing protestors can protest for, for example, 52 weeks straight or in dramatically greater numbers and get virtually no media coverage at all, that's a bit of an imbalance, to be nice about it.

After sleeping on it, I am a bit hesitant to follow this theory.

Mmm. To address your argument simply, I think that you're overgeneralizing what I was referring to. I specifically had highlighted -

He doesn’t think it is fair or appropriate to question him on things he said yesterday so he gives no concern to what he says today.

and took that as a reference to some fairly specific and extremely recent at the time things that Trump had said in response to questions asked of him and the principle in question. To be clear, do you think that Trump is opposed to answering questions about things that he said the day before that he thinks make him look good?

To poke further and address something very slightly tangential to what you said in your more recent post, though... Trump is fairly certainly a pathological narcissist, yes, and that fairly certainly should be taken into account in what he does. Leaving it there and putting the blame on him being a pathological narcissist feels like a cop out to me, though, given that that's hardly all there is to the picture. Trump was taught to use Nazi tactics, for example, and is a life long conman and associate of criminals. If Trump pointedly employs the Nazi tactics he was taught, that doesn't make him any less of a pathological narcissist in the process, but it does mean that it should be recognized that he's using said tactics in that case and the narcissism has more to do with how okay he is with using them.

Yeah, me too. Is this the starting-gun for the dreaded boogaloo or whatever it is called?

That would be more likely to be the Liberate tweets.

The SALT stuff is more likely to be related to this. If it is, then we can harken back to the long ago feelings days when the Republican passed their most recent gigantic tax cut for the rich with forcefully screwing over blue states (and the middle class) on the side. The SALT stuff involves the Republicans screwing over blue states part of things, IIRC, and Senate Republicans preventing the screwing over from being undone. Naturally, as you can see, Trump's trying to push the blame for not managing to stop the Republicans on the Democrats, rather than putting any blame or responsibility on the Republicans that rammed it through.

I had noticed some NAZI stuff and I had read other people’s comments (“Trump’s speech was OK, but I liked it better in the original German”) but I never thought about it as an integral part of the foundation. I can see a lot more of it now.

I’ll reflect on that a bit.

There is tremendous CoronaVirus testing capacity in Washington for the Senators returning to Capital Hill on Monday. Likewise the House, which should return but isn’t because of Crazy Nancy P. The 5 minute Abbott Test will be used. Please inform Dr. Brian P. Monahan. @MarkMeadows

96% Approval Rating in the Republican Party. Thank you! Also, just out, highest ever Approval Rating overall in the new Gallup Poll, and shows “Trump beating Sleepy Joe Biden.”

For trump, the good news is his approval rating in the latest Gallup poll is 'highest ever' at 49%. The bad news is, his highest 'ever' approval rating is only 49%. Gallup also says:
Americans divide evenly when asked whether they approve or disapprove of the way President Donald Trump is handling the coronavirus situation in the U.S., with 50% approving and 48% disapproving. Approval of his handling of the COVID-19 crisis is down 10 percentage points from last month, including a 10-point decline among independents and a 16-point decline among Democrats. Link

At this rate, if you don't support Trump and you're a Republican you've gone entirely mad.

All of the Democrats stick together, that's a lesson that the Republican party needs to learn, support your president you RINOs!

As far as I am concerned, it should be a 100% approval from all of the Republican party, whats wrong with the 4%?

It's an absolute disgrace what they've done to @GenFlynn and his family.
This is one of the most highly respected men in America who was used and dragged through the mud by corrupt lawyers to get dirt and prop up a Hoax.
General Flynn should be fully exonerated.

trump appears to be doing some of his usual bloviating.
Gallup said, “In the current poll...93% of Republicans and 8% of Democrats approve of the job Trump is doing.”...RealClearPolitics polling averages place the president at 44.3 percent approval versus 50.6 percent disapproval as of Friday. Averages of general election polls give Trump 42.1 percent to Joe Biden’s 47.4 percent. Link
