I'm trading in futures on toilet paper contracts.

Everyone in this case refers to all the people (here and elsewhere) citing Fauci as the last word on facts. Hyperbole feels appropriate at the moment.
That article is from the mid 60s.I thought you had a background in infection control?

Here in Austin we are on lockdown now, nothing open except for grocery stores, restaurants are allowed to do delivery and takeout. 62 confirmed cases so it is definitely here.
The difference here is that Fauci is generally recognized as an expert on infectious diseases and you're just some person, with a clear political axe to grind, on an internet forum.
Hopefully you can see why the hyperbole you spew is questionable, despite your relative expertise.
Here you go - I'll bet you our infection numbers increase by 50% today.
That would make 1000 times more tests than NZ. Your population is 1000 times bigger than ours, so we're still even.
I have supported my positions that contradict Fauci.
I'm seeing the damage first hand that bad advice has done here in WA State.
I don't have an axe to grind except against the damaging advice and information CDC and Fauci are spouting.
But of course, feel free to follow those authoritative government voices all you want.
This is a preprint of a paper by researchers at Duke National University of Singapore, currently under peer review.
IIUC the authors are saying that recent samples of the virus taken in Singapore show protein deletions that are likely to make it less dangerous. The deletions are similar to those seen in the SARS and MERS viruses towards the end of the outbreaks, that were associated with 'reduced replicative fitness'. It is not just referring to the presence of the L and S strains which were already known about for some time.

A successful shelter in place means that you're going to feel like it was all for nothing. And you'd be right. Because nothing means that nothing happened to your family. And that's what we're going for here.
Okay. Are you saying we could all be innoculated with this strain?
NEW DATA: A French study has demonstrated evidence that the combination of Hydroxychloroquine & Azithromycin are highly effective in treating Covid-19.
The patients enrolled in the study showed complete viral eradication around the 5th day of treatment.
On the Worldometer site, the number of cases, mild and severe, indicated the number of active cases of coronavirus.I don't know. Germany is continually reporting more deaths than serious/critical cases. Does that mean that the majority of deaths in Germany are people who had only mild symptoms?
Toilet paper? What's that?
