Hopefully the Kurds are a wake-up call to some of the pathetic suckers who excuse Trump at every opportunity.
Legally speaking, no. Joe is a public figure and a candidate for public office. It is extremely difficult to make a case for libel. In fact, practically speaking, it is impossible.

The Trump excusers don't care about brown people.Hopefully the Kurds are a wake-up call to some of the pathetic suckers who excuse Trump at every opportunity.
This is happening at the same time that polls have moved in favor of impeachment / removal -- rapidly.Donald Trump has demonstrated this pattern of behaviour for decades. Anyone who thinks that Donald Trump will honour his commitments is unlikely to change their mind over something as trivial as this.
Heck, people who have been stitched up by Donald Trump and his policies, American farmers spring to mind, are still overwhelming supporters of him.
How about Hunter Biden?
Many Kurds served with British ground forces as 'Levies' in WW2, defending RAF bases during the pro-Axis coup attempt in Iraq in 1941.
They also served with Royal Marines in the Italian campaign.
Just to reiterate what has happened:
Trump has unilaterally made the US abandon a long standing ally that has fought alongside US troops against ISIS. The result will be many dead US allies and the probable release of ISIS prisoners, which will lead to a possible resurgence of ISIS and an increase in terror attacks in the US and Europe.
This is what Trump supporters have to defend.

I hope it's different this time. Alas, I also hope for a pony.
Maybe the kurds wanted to help at Normandy but were suffering from bone spurs at the time.Yeah? But where were they at Normandy?
And anyway, helping the UK is not helping the US. Screw 'em.

I think this is a policy that the US needs to seriously reconsider. There might have been some validity to the "public figure" exception to libel laws when the only people making up frankly ridiculous lies about public figures were the Alex Jones types that only fringe elements took seriously, or sleazy gossip rags like the National Enquirer, but when it's the president making up the ridiculous lies, that's a harder argument to make.
Trump Tweets
From the day I announced I was running for President, I have NEVER had a good @FoxNews Poll. Whoever their Pollster is, they suck. But @FoxNews is also much different than it used to be in the good old days. With people like Andrew Napolitano, who wanted to be a Supreme....
...Court Justice & I turned him down (he’s been terrible ever since), Shep Smith, @donnabrazile (who gave Crooked Hillary the debate questions & got fired from @CNN), & others, @FoxNews
doesn’t deliver for US anymore. It is so different than it used to be. Oh well, I’m President!
