Atheists destroy churches, attack the faithful

W. T. F.

Representatives in Congress obviously, for Christ sake I linked to Congress’s calendar. I mean c’mon...

Unbelievable....
What is unbelivable is that you think that US Congress represent all the world.

Your representatives are not my representatives. I don't rely very much in Trump and his gang that have some strange democratic friends like Saudi Arabia. I advise you to change to independent partners. What do yo think of Amnesty International?

Where do I sign up?

How's the pay? I'd love to man a tower on the perimeter of a concentration camp for the sequestration of brain-rapists, but I won't do it pro bono.

I have no doubt that atheists would love to do so, and also no doubt that they do not realize the irony that the actual concentration camps are re-education camps for the purposes of re-education actual human beings for their beliefs.

At least we are getting admissions that atheists consider themselves the real victims here.

Not the million people in re-education camps, the people who had their churches and books destroyed.

Atheists.

No, and it's quite obvious what you've done.
This is the exchange, just to make it clear.

The claim that atheists are victims, from Aridas, is that they are the victims of you and your incessant and false attempts to scapegoat all atheists for the wrongdoings of the Chinese government.
The only one conflating this with putting people in camps is you. No-one except you has claimed that your trolling and the oppression by the Chinese government are in any way equal.
If all you can do is argue against your own strawmen, you should perhaps rethink your premises.

Feel free to cite the people actually saying this.
Not you.
The other people.

Thread should be put in the hall of fame for false equivalence from the human rights apologists in this thread.

The tired old propaganda argument of who is the real victim or real criminal has not been made in this thread in spite of your empty accusation. It is based on the excluded middle fallacy and no one here has made that argument except you doing it by proxy. Pointing out that other things are also wrong in the world is not the same as claiming one this is worse than another.

Pointing out terrible arguments made as propaganda is not the same as dismissing actual human rights violations. Calling out blatant exploitation of a human rights to indirectly libel those by falsely associating them with it is a very old propaganda trick used by extremists world wide and of every political stripe.

To dumb it down for you, the false equivalence argument is coming from you. And you are using that misrepresentation to smear others without naming them. This creates a situation where your hall of fame would have only one member.

Yeah, it is. But the idea that you think that this is characteristic of atheism rather than an activity of the totalitarian government of China is even more appalling.

False, and there are dozens of others.

Hell, your own post is whining about “indirectly libeling” poor poor atheists, and referring to me as an extremist, in thread about:

AT LEAST A MILLION PEOPLE IN ATHEIST RUN RE-EDUCATION CAMPS.

Ridiculous.

None of the quoted material is an attempt to draw an equivalency. The effort at making it an equivalency exists in your mind only.

The intent of this thread is easily spotted in the resistance on your part to answering basic questions such as if you actually care about human rights violations.

Earlier in this thread I mentioned the idea that maybe we should bring those victims to the US. No response from you on that at all. It is like actually solving the crisis in China is of no interest to you. Only the repeated accusation seems to be of any interest.

That puts it in a nutshell Doubt.

Uh huh, missed the more appalling part then, didja?

Thread ain’t about me, and imagine my surprise that this thread has been Inundated with such silly questions by posters who are actual human rights abuse defenders.

By the way, you were serious about moving Uighurs from their homes and resettling them here. Whoa. I thought you were joking.

No, I was not joking. Nor did I say that is is the only solution. It is just one possibility. I am open to discussing any reasonable solution.

So what do you want to do about China? Continued crocodile tears not withstanding that with a thread having 2,000+ posts it is about time to move on from BS and actually start discussing what to do. You first. List a few ideas that might fix the issue.

I already listed a number of steps (only to be bizarrely mocked by anti-religious fanatics)

Talking people from their homes and forcibly resettling them is the worst idea I have ever heard.

And where can we find these steps?

In this thread obviously. I am afraid that I will have to insist that you read the thread this time.

I have read the thread. I am not about to read through all of it again. I would assume you are the best person to point out where you posted something.

Nah, sorry, You are literally asking the same question I have answered several times.

You in America? Support the bill I linked earlier. If not, talk to whoever makes up your government.

I have noticed this as well. TBD has claimed before to have posted some ideas about what to do.
The only one I can bring to mind is a suggestion that we approach our Congressional representatives, which isn't much use for the non-Americans among us.
Beyond that, he has rejected both prayer and negotiations, so I'm not sure what's left. Military action? Not very practical, and not very "blessed are the peacemakers" either.
TBD: anything I've missed here? Any other suggestions you've made? Any more you want to make?
