Chuck Todd has said he's not missing work on Friday - he's expecting fireworks to quote one rag.

Makes sense.... long weekend, end of the summer,... they love doing stuff in Washington on a Friday night. There may be some overlap into the White House Survivor thread, but he's got lots of theatrical options not involving firing people.

Faite vos Jeux, Mesdames et Messieur! Faite vos jeux!

> Fire Mueller.
> Breaks down on Hannity because he hasn't heard back from "Kimmy Wimmy". "(sniff) I sold out four allies for him and he doesn't call... he doesn't write".
> Announces that he's solved the missing strawberries.
> Withdrawal from WTO.
> Announces a special Labor Day Sale on all Trump Branded products, to be held at the National Guard Armory in Owensboro, KY
> Sees his shadow, so we expect eight more weeks of lies.
> Talks about his great election victory.

What he specifically said is that he expects a bombshell from Mueller, because Mueller won't do anything between Labour Day and the election. I'm not convinced by his reasoning.

It's about the Justice Dept guidelines about releasing major news ahead of an election (the general 2 month rule). Mueller doesnt have a deadline for tomorrow, but he won't get too close to election day and drop a slew of charges or indictments.
Can't have an interference probe causing interference!

I imagine ending it would be ok. Waiting to announce something like that might also be interference.

Yeah, I know what it's about. I'm not convinced that it means that he'll release something today. Or, in fact, that he won't release something that's important enough between now and November.

Yeah because of course the DOJ guidelines are not to announce close to elections unless it is something about Clinton and/or Trump wants.

Yeah...I'm not quite clear why they are so sure it even applies. No one in the probe is on the ballot (unlike the Comey announcement) and we have had elections going on throughout the investigation already- just on a smaller scale.

Kanye Responds to Kimmel's Question, Finally

When Kanye West had no response to Jimmy Kimmel's question as to just why he thinks that Donald Trump cares about black people he claimed it was a rapidfire question that he just didn't react to because he was unprepared for it.

Having had several weeks to think it over, when he was asked the same question by a radio show, he responded,

"I feel that he cares about how black people think about him."

Not to make too fine a point of it, Kanye but that doesn't explain why Trump cares about black people; it explains why Trump cares about Trump. He doesn't care about black people, black people's lives, black people's problems, he cares about black people's opinions of Donald Trump.

Why do people even talk about this guy? He doesn't seem to know much about anything. Stick to making music, sir.

I'm linking the photo of the application for USPS. (If anyone has the rest of the documents, perhaps the date of application is available. It doesnt state the present date in this photo)

She states she worked for the Islamic school "12/02 - Present"

If the CIA offered her a conditional offer in 2002 and she spent some time actually teaching at the school from December of 2002, then the applications could not happen at the same time.

It's likely that the GOP simply didn't think it through and trusted the FOIA checks. If they knew, then they would also have known how much that kind of attack could backfire.

She waited tables in the interim, and a colleague asked her if she would be interested in a temporary job teaching English at the academy to cover for another instructor’s maternity leave, Ms. Spanberger said.

As she awaited final word from the C.I.A., she took a job at the Postal Inspection Service, the law enforcement arm of the Postal Service. She said she filled out the federal forms for both jobs at about the same time. She also said she informed the C.I.A. each time she took on new employment.

Undercover waitress of the CIA! Plus she lied that: "She said she filled out the federal forms for both jobs at about the same time."

The claim that she was working undercover for the CIA before her background check came in is FANTASTIC.

no, it isn't.
Only if an asset is brought in into the full hierarchy will there be the formal Background check process.

Huh. I did not know that "fact" you just totally made up.

Newsflash: undercover agents on their covert assignment for the cia do not need a background check

Oh mercy...

Well...most people are pretty sure that Kanye's album - which, in a stunning coincidence, dropped at around the same time he started hyping Toupee Fiasco - isn't selling so well.

Too bad, because he had the hottest song about scooping kitty litter.

(As I said years ago - Kanye West should never be taken seriously outside of the music he does. And honestly, his music's been going downhill since then.)

Sure, the assertion that her USPS application showed a covert job while she worked for the CIA is spectacular nonsense because she applied for the CIA and USPS at the same time.

Plus, are we really thinking that people who could not find the USPS statement taking full responsibility managed to find a covert job?

I appreciate your time and effort in putting that together. I trust that you did your best to convey your view of this situation. Well done?
